Wingstop — Restaurant in Oak Ridge

I placed a pick up order and I was running behind my pick up time. However, upon arrival my food wasn’t ready. I was the only one in the restaurant, so I was a bit confused, but no biggie. I soon figured out why my food wasn’t ready. I parked on the side of the building and as I was getting into my car the employees on shift were walking out the back door headed to the dumpster area empty handed. My real complaint is that my fries were completely coated in salt, powdered donut style. I tried to just eat them but couldn’t. I was still in the parking lot so I went in and asked for them to be remade because they were too salty. He looked at them and told me that was the normal amount of salt that corporate told them to use and I need to ask for them to be lightly salted next time. Not a single time that I’ve visited wing stop have my fries ever been completely coated in salt. And him telling me that it was a normal amount of salt when wing stop nor any other restaurant coats the entire fry with salt almost made me laugh in his face. I don’t think he realized how crazy he sounded. I guess every other location is doing it wrong and this one time at this one particular location they did it correctly. The bottom of my fry container had so much salt it could’ve filled 1/4 of a salt shaker. But hey, apparently it’s the norm. I placed an online order for for a birthday dinner. When we got home with the order my boneless wings were left out of the order. Went directly back Wingstop to let them know that they bub left the wings out bub my order. I arrive back at Wingstop at approximately 9:45 and didn't get the food that was left out of my order tonight untill about 11:35p. And when I first got there they didn't acknowledge that I was there for about 20 minutes they did not to fix the order until almost two hours later. They didn't know how to look up an online order after they had my name they still need someone to write down the order. I have never seen a business ran so poorly. The people there don't know what they're doing. I would rather eat at Krystals. My 7th grader could do a better job. With customer service, cooking, making sure the orders were correct and finding an order number in the computer to correct an order. Neve again. I would rather go to Knoxville to Wingstop. First time we’ve ever had wingstop, and our experience was quite positive. First, I don’t believe this place deserves the hate it seems to be getting. Our service was excellent. The gal that seemed to be running the place let me know our order was almost ready and kept me updated, and stopped me from leaving once she realized I had another bag with my fries in it that I didn’t have yet. 4 people were able to eat for $47, and we have plenty of leftovers. This isn’t meant to be a “fine dining” experience, and it’s unfair to rate it as such. It was good, especially for takeout. I’ve spent far more, on far less quality for sure. While I’m personally not a huge fan of the Cajun corn that everyone raves about, it was warm and you can tell it had just been made. The wings were flavored nicely, and the fries were crispy. The staff were attentive, and I was greeted immediately upon entering. My order was ready right around the time estimate. Would return, especially for the staff who...
