Spirit Halloween — Local services in Oak Ridge

My 2nd time visiting the store this season. I stopped in for makeup for my son's costume. Katie greeted me and asked if I needed help. I explained that my son was going to be a zombie and we needed makeup for it. Katie asked if we were looking for tattoos or just the makeup. I said both. Katie showed me to the scars section. They were out of the ones I was looking for, but she showed me the regular makeup and liquid latex. She explained how to make the scars myself.

I encountered Katie again when I was trying to find a costume in a different size. I had sent my son to the front to ask them about it. He got the typical r these days response "everything we have is out on the floor". Katie comes from the place where great customer service is the only way. She suggested looking in 2 other sections for a similar item as well as looked online to see if nearby stores had one in stocks.

We go to this location every year. This visit did cost more than what I had initially went in for. I left really happy that they carried some stuff I was looking for as well as happy to get the exceptional...

when did yesterday to get a cow costume? It says it was an adult size large 12 to 14. That is my size! AFTER I bought it, they told me the sale was final and I could not return it even tho they don’t have any fitting rooms inside of the building. I tried it on inside of my vehicle and everything fit, except for the legs. The tight part that’s supposed to be at the ankles were up on my calves. It looks so dumb. I went back inside 10 min later to try to return it right away and they told me I had to drive all the way to Cedar Bluff (20 min drive) to return it. I spent $42 and some change for this costume that doesn’t fit. They told me that I should have tried it on over my clothes… never had a bad experience...

If your store hours are going to differ from what it says online you need to update that info because there are people who drive long distance to shop these stores & I myself just drove 45min to the Oak Ridge location only for a rude sales associate to meet me at the door to tell me they closed at 6pm (Sunday) when it clearly says this location is open until 7pm online. Customer service is lacking at this...
