I was enthused to see this local Crumbl location as I usually get them when Iâm out of town. Unfortunately, I was gravely disappointed in the lack of service I received upon visiting for the first and only time. I placed a pre-order through the app in which I scheduled to have picked up hours later. Upon arriving, I was informed that two out of my dozen was unavailable as they had run out. I requested to switch a cookie for a cup of ice cream which was the same price and was refused. Requesting to speak with a manager was of no help as the manager refused to switch the cookie for ice cream or to provide a complimentary cup due to the establishmentâs fault of not filling preorders prior to selling out of their cookies. I canceled the order and requested a refund. As I was leaving, one of the male employees thought it necessary to antagonize me, shouting across the restaurant. The store lost a $40 order from a customer who has spent upwards of $100 on previous orders for a $4 cup of ice cream. Itâs been more than a month and I have yet to receive a refund from the store. I had to contact my credit card company to reverse the charges. Iâve contacted corporate as well as the store manager to no avail. Iâm also still waiting on the $10 Crumbl cash to be placed back on my account, in which I have requested several times. Iâm moving from not patronizing the store to not patronizing Crumbl at all. While the cookieâs are good, thereâs no justification for complete failure of service all the way around. This is a terrible look for the...
Read moreYesterday was my first time ever entering Crumbl. The girl at the register was not warm at all, didn't seem like she cared to be there. When I asked her for a recommendation she said she's never tried the cookies. Then another girl came over and we asked her and she just told me what 2 cookies she's tried before. When I asked her which of the 2 she would recommend she said one of the cookies was okay and the other one she just said she wasn't a peanut butter person, which I can understand. But these are your employees and they couldn't recommend a cookie or even hype them up. I decided to go with peanut butter. They then asked me for my name, I paid and then waited a bit. I assumed they would call my name since they asked me for it but they didn't, someone had placed the cookie on the counter and I hadn't realize it. I grab my cookie once I notice it and leave. When I took my first bite it was very cold and hard. I was confused so I call the store and they told me it's a refrigerated cookie. I was still confused after that. Am I supposed to eat it cold? I decided to let it come to room temperature and it was much softer. The cookie ended up being very yummy but the service sucked. I would have expected better seeing as how I was the only person...
Read moreMy stylist and I wanted something sweet to eat since she was hard at work doing my hair. I had been to Crumbl before and she love them too so we both were excited they were able to deliver thru Door Dash . When I placed my order online I requested that they put 3 in one box and 3 in another due to me not being able to eat all 3 in one sitting, I called the Oakbrook location to make sure the saw the note I was then was told itâs $.50 for a box but it wasnât something I could add on the website so how do you charge for a box. I then stated I had just spent $60 within 5 minutes due to me purchasing the cookies and sending my neighbor a gift card for being a thoughtful person and I couldnât get a box. I then had to ask them to put the driver on the line to ask if he could pay the $.50 for a box so my cookies could be fresh and of course I gave him the cash back once he arrived but if youâre going to charge for something I would think you would have it on the website. I truly believe this ridiculous charge but if it would have been on the website I paid for the box. I will say I did...
