I have never been to a restaurant where the servers try to intimidate you into tipping them. My partner and I wanted to try a different place for ramen. The food itself was good, but not the greatest. Our interaction with our server was very minimal until the very end of our dining experience. When I paid and chose no tip, the lady made a snarky remark saying that I didn’t want to tip. Personally, I felt like it was unnecessary to tip due to not interacting much with the server and for how little time we spent there. I wasn’t satisfied with my meal but it’s what I chose so I’m not giving this 1 star because of that. I am giving this place a 1 star because when my partner decided to tip in cash, the server wouldn’t leave and give us the privacy to tip. Instead she stood there waiting for the tip to be handed to her and when my partner asked why she was standing there. She told us that people lie about tipping cash and was basically forcing us to tip her. Because it felt like she was forcing us, my partner said he didn’t feel tipping anymore due to the attitude she was giving us, as well insinuating that he was lying about tipping her. She got upset and said that it looked like we needed the money more than her. I have a feeling that the past negative comments about the service has been about her as well. I genuinely believe someone like that shouldn’t be allowed to provide customer service. I work at a restaurant as well and I’m not forcing...
Read more!!! Review is about accessibility as a mobility aid user !!!
This place is not acceptable, don't let Google's accessibility feature lie to you. The restaurant is small and they've packed it with tables, so there's no room for a wheelchair or walker to get through. I had my crutch and I felt kind of cramped. For reference, the server was about average in size and width and there was just enough room for him to get through easily, but not much else.
There's no public restrooms. I didn't ask if the bathroom is open to paying customers because I saw multiple signs saying "no public bathroom".
The door is a single door, a small entry way, then another door to the left. A chair get in, just barely, based off the width of my manual chair. But there's no room between the two doors so you'd be stuck.
The food was good, the service was ok (out server almost forgot to put in our order but the other server had sat us at a 4 top dispite being a party of 2 to allow me to have a place to rest my crutch while we ate.) we enjoyed our experience but accessibility wise, it...
