Sgt Peppers — Restaurant in Oakdale

We drove from about an hour away to say good bye to a friend who's moving out of state so we decided to come down and have one last lunch. We came at the end of bingo. Surprisingly that didn't effect the service at all. Tyler was our server today. AMAZING! This dude deserves way more than he's paid I promise that. based solely on his representation of your business. He knew beers off the top of his head, remember what people were drinking. Had suggestions ready. I mean the dude even brought out merchandise to show us after we inquired about them. Truly an employee who deserves praise. Now on to the food. We chose your place based on the menu. Variety is perfect for our group. There is so much we plan on coming back to try. We had pretzel bites - delicious warm liquids are released into your mouth when you take your first bite or pop the whole thing in your mouth. Either way num. Potato skins were good. The potatoes were baked a bit too long but that happens. The cheese and bacon were proper amounts of delish. The last item we tried was the buffalo chicken quesadilla. Didn't really think too much into this but after trying it I'm recommending it. Perfect amount of sauce to create a light flavor of heat and buffalo with out being sloppy. And it was so full! Of chicken not just a bunch of cheese. Love the name love the atmosphere. Even our hostess in the middle of bingo asked us if we prefer booth or table and when we chose she cleaned off a table immediately so we could sit at a table. Cudos to your staff! This was not what I expected as I thought this was a bar that served food. Actually it's more like a restaurant that happens to serve alcohol. Made two trips in consecutive days and results were the same. Very friendly and attentive staff! 😎 ordered ribs in round one and second trip had a NY strip. Ribs were tender with a tasty sauce cooked on them. Some places only dump sauce on top. The steak was awesome. Not a cheapie by any means! Cooked to perfection. However, both meals seemed to build around these items and as such, i was slightly let down. Both meals came with a side of obligatory vegetables which werent bad. I could take them or leave them. Have definitely tasted worse! But the potato portion both times were sub par. Ribs came with a baked potato which I could tell was reheated by the taste and I tried to avoid it by ordering the fries with the steak but the fries were sitting so long that they were cold and hard by the time the steak was plated. Had a coupon thought I'd give him a try. There's nothing about the Beatles here folks. I thought maybe they would have a beetle burger or something- no. I was disappointed when I found out that they did not offer the happy hour prices on beverages or on the reduced-priced appetizers if you sat in the dining room. It wouldn't have been so much of a problem except it happened to be bingo night so almost every chair was filled in the bar! I loved the appetizer Tootsie toes or something with tater tots! I don't get those a lot so throw on some shredded pork and barbecue sauce and onion and I'm happy! As typical our servant was trying to be a servant and encourage us and almost pressure us but was very patient when we were confused and slow and needing to sort things out as to which way to go with the complications involved. I was glad to see liver and onions on the menu cuz I don't get those often and as tempting as it was I went for the special! It...
