I love to support small and new businesses, so when I saw this new restaurant, I decided to try them. I was intrigued by their menu because they had items that most Cajun restaurants in the Twin Cities didn’t have, like Dungeoness crab, jumbo prawns, and Jonah crab claws. I placed my order by phone call and ordered the Jonah crab claws, easy peel shrimp, crawfish, and jumbo prawns. My order was a little over $90 and I received a free small tub of white rice and free small tub of jambalaya with my order. They were very friendly and my food was ready within 15 minutes.

I feel so bad saying this, but I didn’t enjoy the food. We got the Cajun Medium sauce and it was lacking in flavor. It wasn’t salty enough and was lacking that kick. I could taste a little bit of curry in the sauce, too, which is fine, but because it wasn’t salty enough, it made the curry flavor worse.

The Jonah crab and crawfish had a strong fishy smell and the jumbo prawns were soft. The potatoes were super soft and falling apart. The shrimp was mediocre and the jambalaya tasted like it came out of a can. The best thing about this entire meal was the corn. It was juicy and delicious. The rest of the food lacked flavor or didn’t taste fresh.

I’ve been to a few Cajun restaurants in the Twin Cities and I am sad to report that this is the worst one. I’ve had Millions Crab, Crazy Cajun, Grand Catch, Luscious Crab, and King Cajun.

In order to improve, the restaurant will need to provide better quality seafood and improve their sauce. Other than that, customer service was fast and good....

Took my wife and daughter to eat tonight. Spent almost $200, I ordered a kids meal that comes with an apple juice and I ordered an extra corn for my daughter because she was 3 yo and dont do spice. When the food came out, no extra corn was given, when I asked, they said it was added to my #3 $140 ordered. The gentleman told me he can take one corn back from my dish and give me a new one. I told him, " I guess?" when he came back, it was the same corn, they just rinsed it down, you can still see the red chili oil color between the cob. I just let it go because a few people starting to come in and didn't want to make a scene. Moreover, my daughter didn't get her juice, so I went up to asked, gentleman told me they don't have apple juice and she can have something from the pop machine. I refused so he offered lemonade. I would not spend a dime from this place again. I've eaten here 3 times. The first time was good because they just opened, second time was OK so I decided to give...

I usually love this place. I’ve been a return customer. But this is now two different times I’ve gotten rotten/inedible food. I usually will order this as a treat, and today only a small portion of my food was consumable. I got lemon butter, so in the attached photos is not seasoning, but rather an old (snow) crab with no meat, covered in burn marks and the shell is like folding wet paper. When I was able to break it apart, it was just brown meat that just split in half. Inedible. I’m a single parent so I always door dash, and I don’t even doubt that if I called them they wouldn’t fix it! They are sweet people. But I’m not able to drive around all the time. I’ve resorted to that last time my order was wrong.. but at this point I don’t even understand why this was served while they looked at it and put it into my order. Very disappointing. Second photo comparing a random, unattached normal crab leg they put into my container to the burnt rotten...

šŸ”„ not all seafood in Minnesota is created equal. I had other Cajun places but the flavor was not there, on the contrary this place high on my list for seafood in the Saint Paul area. The customer service is top-notch, the young man Ahmed was very helpful with the menu and gave me a free drink while I waiting on my food. Super friendly staff and the food was really good! They have big walleye fillets and the portions of the food was satisfying for the price. I was pleased to find this restaurant. It is not a sit-down family restaurant per se, it is a small restaurant with dine-in or takeout available. These guys really pay attention to detail and make you feel at home. Great job guys I will recommend this for all of my seafood connoisseurs!
