Bergen Plaza — Local services in Oakdale

My only experiences in this plaza were at DSpot and Hideaway. DSpot is a MUST! Our friends introduced us and now we have made a "chicken wing" monthly budget due to our new obsession. The customer service was fabulous and the facility itself is very unique. I enjoy their food ordering process (menus at the hightops when you walk in, place your order at the front, grab a table number and take a seat while your food is prepared, they then bring it right to your table). There is a nice area toward the back that was very accommodating when we went there for a birthday gathering. It's a bit more private. The wings are TO DIE FOR! I HIGHLY recommend the Huckleberry Finn for a sweet but spicy wing, it's my personal favorite. Their unique flavors will keep me coming back for life. Not only are they unique but they are truly delicious! Hideaway: Super cool shop. Insane inventory and unique layout. I can't speak on prices/value because I was with a friend and was not shopping at the time. The staff was friendly and the store was not only precise in its layout but is very organized and easy...

This review is for Smokedale...Everyone who reads this WATCH THE PRICES WHEN THEY RING YOU UP!!!! especially with the old men. My friends and I have been ripped off almost Everytime we go to a local tobacco shop. They ring in extra items and change the prices to higher ones. Last trip to Smokedale they got an extra 45 bucks out of me. The man was literally was just making up prices and charging for items not purchased. I've read other reviews for this place and most are horrendous. Mostly bad customer service. Employees blowing cigarette smoke all over to impatient employees who seem annoyed to help. So I guess it's back to my old standby.... Ordering online. But not from smokedale. This stupid American consumer...

Bergen Plaza is anchored by Big Thrill Factory, a dollar store, the Beirstube, and Cub Foods. Cub used to occupy the large space now owned by Big Thrill Factory, but now it has taken over a old K-mart. Cub and the Beirstube are the only "good looking" stores in the strip mall and honestly it seems like Cub wants nothing to do with the rest of the strip mall. Bergen Plaza is run down while the Cub foods is brand new and nice to look at. I haven't been in Big Thrill, but it seems like a bad place to invest for your indoor theme park. The Beirstube is just there and is a great restaurant but the dollar store and the tobacco stores are cringy and outdated. I think there's a dance place but I've never seen...
