La Perla del Pacífico — Restaurant in Oakland

Stopped here one day in passing for a quick afternoon snack.

For starters everyone who worked here was so lovely. Just the nicest people who genuinely cared you had a good time. The food options were vast and it was hard but we decided to split an aguachile. We got the cilantro one and oh dear lord was it spicy; but also so delicious.

More of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant. Could hardly hear the waitress over the loud karaoke music. Certainly way too loud for the size of the restaurant. The food took a very long time to arrive and when it did, the ceviche was poor quality. If you go here try to go when they don't have karaoke. The"singers" were obviously intoxicated and singing loudly without a mask on very closely to other customers who were sitting eating...

Busy neighborhood spot, nice attentive staff, has a bar, seems a great place to watch the futball games... While mariscos is the advertised attraction, My buddies love it for the delicioso meats including big rack of pork ribs or carne asada plates. This place is also known for grilled chickens...
