Wendy's — Restaurant in Oakland

I love when you are in line and the last customer orders and you step up to the lady at the cash register. Instead of looking at you or even greeting you. She stands there for a second head down, looking at the counter or the floor, and then walks away to make a drink for the previous customer who's order is not even completed for another 3 minutes. After this turns around to idly move the box of crackers she had likely been setting up before the two customers came in. It's okay though because at this point she spins back to the register. I smile gettin ready for that moment when our eyes like, but once again she avoids looking at me or acknowledging the human being less that a foot from here seeking her eyes. Rather than face this stranger she toys with the receipt printer. I've actually worked in quite a bit of restaurants so I can assure you what she did was idle print some blank paper. Then she attempted to tear it but didn't fill break the slip she had printed. She tugged again and it came free. I have a clear line of sight to this so there is no way she can't be sure I'm observing this. With the blank slip finally free she chucks it below her assumably into the trash. She then opens the receipt machine as if the paper is off track or empty. She pulls from the inside a bit of the paper as if it was off track and she was resetting it, once again I've worked extensively with these otherwise I might not have known what she did was a complete unnecessary thing. Maybe she's new I think. Looking up to her chest I read the name tag for some reason thinking it might inexplicably state new employee, nope it says manager. Slightly surprised I look her up and down and once again attempt to garner her eye contact. I wanted to politely say hi, maybe manners is all she was missing. But now she's closed the receipt machine and I think finally she'll great me maybe with a hello, maybe she'll even say sorry for the delay, maybe she'll ask how I'm doing today. My hopes are crushed as she swims back to her right to retrieve the cup for the customer before me. She shuffles it. And sets this one on autofill. Which makes me realize she could have simply done this to the first one instead of standing on front of the machine. She finally takes a step in front of me. Locks her eyes on her screen. I figured something else was going to happen so I was caught off guard when she said softly to the screen "here or to go. "

It took me about 12 mins to write this I know, kinda slow. That was how long it took this BMW to get from ordering to the pick up. And there was about 6 cars behind him.

Double stacks are amazing tho. Great value...

Today is October 28 2014 I went there around 12 30 PM, I was pretending to order BBQ pulled pork. Two people were attending the customers I was the only one in line; the first cashier finished to deliver a order, the second one was finishing her order with another customer, I was waiting to be attended so after 2 minutes waiting one guy, a new customer came behind me, got in the line and the first girl just called him to help him out; so was I discriminated because I look like Spanish?Just in case,I am Brazilian, was discrimination because I have dark skin? I don't know, I just left the store,sad of course but I didn't spoke a word ... the second cashier called me two times asking if she can help me but I didn't answer. I left the store and now in this review I would like to know, is that the policy of that restaurant? I wont come back to there anymore, neither my employers. Thanks for the...

Unprofessional as hell!! While in the line they turned off the lights I was the last person to pull up no one bottle speak to me to tell me that the store had closed and they weren't taking any more orders.. there were two more people behind me.. so I couldn't back out. I kept saying hello hello and I looked at this fool in the window who could have just waved me on or said no or anything. Nothing it's like staring into the blankness.. I got to the window I blew my horn and finally some young lady said we're closed.. I think they're for at least speaking to me.. but worst customer service ever.. I understand places close but they should have blocked off the parking lot or should have at least came and said something to me over the speaker.. based on my experience I will never go there again my money is good anywhere and they don't deserve...
