Dodo cookie dough and ice cream — Restaurant in Ocean City

Absolutely disgusting. The cookie dough tasted like and smelled like Play Doh. It was warm / room temperature which can’t be safe for a product they admit has raw eggs in it. Now I am having stomach pains and hoping I don’t have salmonella or food poisoning despite having only a few spoonfuls of the cookie dough before throwing the rest of the nasty blob away. Calling it “edible” cookie dough is a stretch.

Prices are absurdly high and they refuse to accept coupons from the Ocean City Magazine that says they expire in May of 2025. They have the gall, with those prices, to have both a tip jar out and try to make you give a tip on the screen when you pay. The ice cream is just Hershey’s ice cream and you could buy a gallon of ice cream at the grocery store that’s comparable for a fraction of the price. On top of this, half of the store is taken up by random huge equipment that’s covered with black trash...

First of all, this location said open till 11, and the first attempt to go we watched the workers close up and leave by 8pm. Next attempt, I was excited to check this place out. It was literally a white room with a case of ice cream and a case of cookie dough I assumed. There were no signs and the menu only highlighted ice cream. The cookie dough looked like nothing special and changed my mind about getting it. I did see a sign on the counter that said "open till 10 ish" Seriously? My husband wanted a milkshake, they DIDN'T HAVE ANY MILK! Cherry on top was the totally uninterested cashier who never cracked a smile and looked slightly annoyed that we wanted to spend our money there. Don’t waste your money or calories. They won’t let you sample flavors but they also can’t answer your questions about their product so you’re stuck buying an overpriced scoop of something that looks like delicious cookie dough but doesn’t taste like it. I presented a Sunny Deals coupon when paying and was told by the girl working, who barely speak English, that she couldn’t take a coupon unless the manager was there and when I asked her to get a manger she said there was not one. Terrible customer service. The only reason why I gave 2 stars was because I also got a scoop of Hershey’s ice cream, which was great since I threw away the disappointing cookie dough. I visited the location on the boardwalk but for some reason that location doesn’t exist when searching Dodo locations...
