I noticed there was a Dunkinâ nearby, but I wanted to support a local business instead. Below is my detailed review:
PROS: ⢠Very friendly staff. ⢠If you need a kosher menu, they have a separate section dedicated to kosher items. (My review is based solely on the regular menu, not the kosher offerings.) ⢠Ordered the French toast for my toddler, she didnât like them, but I thought they were okay.
CONS: ⢠Overall, the food quality was lacking. ⢠I ordered a hot coffee. The menu listed light roast and dark roast options, but when I stated my preference to the cashier, she said there was only one roast available and couldnât confirm which one it was. While not a major issue, the coffee I received wasnât very good in taste. Wawa has better tasting brewed coffee. ⢠The bagels were noticeably smaller than Dunkinâ or traditional NY-style bagels, and they didnât taste fresh or high quality. My egg and cheese bagel came with a processed-looking egg patty, similar to Dunkinâs, when I was expecting a freshly cooked egg.
Bottom line: I canât recommend this place based on value and quality. I have higher expectations for authentic coffee and bagels, as well as real eggs in breakfast sandwiches. If youâre looking for a kosher menu, it may be worth checking out their offerings, but I personally wonât...
Read moreWe were super excited to have another vegan option. Went in to one older lady working alone. Line backed up, no worries, we can be patient. We watched her make bacon egg and cheese bagels for 3 people in front of us. When it was our turn we ordered a cold sandwhich that had bacon on it and asked for the meat and cheese to be swapped for vegan options (there are multiple signs about all their vegan options so they seemed to be proud of it). She says the ovens are down and she's only doing bagels and cream cheese...but she made hot sandwiches for all those people in front of us. So we said just sub out the vegan bacon for vegan ham. She said "I still can't heat it". I said "it's a cold sandwich ". She responds with "I'm not doing it". We walked out. I would have been fine had she not just made hot sandwhiches for 3 people who ordered multiple hot sandwiches ahead of us. But it's like she specifically just didn't want...
Read moreI have been here twice now, and the quality of service is abysmal. The first time I went, I ordered four bagels and an iced coffee and was given three bagels and a hot coffee.
The 2nd time I came here they couldn't get the order correct as well. It went something like this:
Me: I'll have a wheat bagel with butter and a medium iced coffee with milk, please.
Her: . . . and a coffee?
Me: A medium ICED coffee with milk.
Her: Would you like milk and sugar with that?
Me: An iced coffee with MILK.
I was served an iced coffee with milk and sugar!!! They just don't listen.
When I went to the area where the napkins were, ALL THREE were empty, so I had to be and ask for napkins.
I won't be back.
Uber Bagels right down the street gets a bit crowded, but it's worth the wait. I'm guessing this place will never get crowded because they won't get the return...
