Disclaimer: This was a spontaneous Saturday day trip! I had very short notice and I am not familiar with Ocean city Maryland!

My intention was to attend Seacrets however I am more mature in age and did not like the large crowd of people we saw, so we changed our minds and stopped here at Dry 85!On the exterior and interior of the building it looks very calm and seems to be a great idea for a very mellow date night! Our wait for our waiter was about 30 minutes and they did advise us of the wait! Dry 85 specializes in the craft of Alcohol (right up my alley) I had a whiskey sour & a American Mule, both were great! Our waiter EMILY was also very very sweet ! I must say she is a keeper! The food looked good but honestly I give it a 2.The concepts were good but very very amateur and I and am talking taste! The applesauce on the pork needs to be fine tuned and perfected. The pork needs seasoning! The potatoes could use a crisp to give it more taste and substance and depth! Our appetizer smorgasbord was ok that gets a 4.My spouses dish was a 3 he loved the waffles but the chicken like the pork was bland no taste,no seasoning! If they work on the ingredients maybe marinate the pork overnight with light seasoning that'll bring the people to the yard! But I wasn't thrilled with this place at all the ambiance is nice though! We sat outside!

Update:To the owner below, yes I did give A WALMART MEANING 1 CHAIN THAT I VISITED A GOOD REVEIW DOES THAT REPRESENT ALL WALMARTS ? NO IT DOES NOT! THE FACT THAT YOU ARE BUTT HURT BEHIND AN HONEST REVEIW SHOWS A LOT ABOUT YOUR PERSONALITY AND YOUR ESTABLISHMENT, YOU ONLY FOCUSED ON WHAT I DID NOT LIKE, NOT ON THE POSITIVE! ON TOP OF THAT YOUR RESPONSE IS IRRELEVANT AS IF YOU COULD ALSO COMPREHEND YOU'D NOTICE I GIVE GOOD & BAD REVEIWS HONESTLY! ON OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS AS WELL! IM GLAD I DID THE REVEIW A PROFESSIONAL ESTABLISHMENT WOULD NEVER RESPOND WITH YOUR RESPONSE! SO SHALL I CHALK THIS UP TO RACE ! HMMMM INTERESTING! NOT EVERYONES PALLETTE NOT IS THE SAME! YOU SERVE BLAND FOOD BUT GREAT DRINKS AND THAT'S OK FOR SOME PEOPLE ....JUST NOT MYSELF! MAKE SURE YOU TELL EMILY SHE DID A GREAT JOB AS YOU INTENTIONALLY SKIPPED OVER THAT PART! Skipped over the positive comments about your establishment, which speaks volumes!PROBABLY SHOULD'VE WENT TO SEACRETS LIKE I WAS ADVISED TO DO! Dropped to a 1 star for the ignorance in the response & walmart actually has seasoned prepackaged food you served unseasoned cooked pork with cold applesauce, the presentation was good however before we even took a bite 😳 Emily asked if we wanted salt 🧂 😳 so........ my spouse & I laughed because we've never been asked that, but shout to your waffles ,do better with the chicken it also needs seasoning, oh and Brittany gowin wrote your establishment was very misleading and I back her, Brian,Toby,Ashley,Rose posted a poor reveiw as well yet you did not respond to all,we are foodies, we specialize in well cooked and presented meals ,the people that eat at your establishment probably are not and that's ok ! Maybe we shall locate you on social media and post this with a tag 🤔 You received the 1 star because you put effort into EVERYTHING...

Two stars because the food that wasn’t cold was really good.

Whoever is managing this place needs replaced. Once we finally got seated (1.5 hr wait) our waitress dropped off waters and disappeared for 15 minutes. Once she finally got back and begged to order she disappeared again and finally got us some real drinks.

We don’t see her again until the food comes. Two of the dishes are brought out cold, no salt and pepper or condiments around. 20 minutes go by, we eat the cold food. We actually had to ask the bartenders for ketchup and new drinks.

She finally comes by and says well I have another table with 16 people. First off you shouldn’t be serving 16 people together in Covid and why is this waitress addressing a party yet ignoring a small table, the manager should never assign someone to a party and small tables.

Once she comes we talked about the cold food and she says she will take it off the menu. She comes back a minute later and pretty much tells us her manager thought the plate was warm so there was no way it could’ve been cold. Also said they don’t use heat lamps so it couldn’t have been the heat lamps. Where I am from you are legally required to have heat lamps in a restaurant.

After trying to push dessert four times(like I wanted to wait another 2 hrs for dessert) she finally brings the check. The cold food still on there. I thought the food was excellent but the service ruins this place. Hope the owners get their act together as this place...

This place is overrated in my opinion, I don't drink but I think the drinks may be the reasons why they are rated so well as I noticed those perfect sphere shape ice in somebody's drink. My son got the chicken and waffle I tried a bite of a waffle and it tasted really good but the chicken was small cutlets, not impressed at all. When I think about chicken and waffles the chicken is supposed to be show stopper. For some odd reasons the rest of us had burgers I had the DRY 85 OC and it was dry!!! The bun was stale and not toasted that would have helped masked the staleness and stop it from shredding up on us, I was excited about the pulled pork and Cole slaw that came on the burger, unfortunately I couldn't taste none of those flavors on the burger. I could barely see the pulled pork on the burger maybe they scrapped the pan to come up with the small amount, nobody was impressed by the parmesan fries at all and the waitress brought 3 Coca-Cola that were so flat they tasted like sparkling water, mind you they came in a clear glass just by looking at them I knew something was off. I was not the only one who noticed that. We arrived between 6:30 7:00 the waitress was very nonchalant and I couldn't figure out why our food came out cold and she didn't seem to give a hoot. We are big foodies and the let down was heavy from 4 adults and one young man, at least the young man who picked the chicken and waffles was happy so that gave us a...

Dry 85 exceeded expectations, offering such an outstanding culinary experience that we found ourselves returning for a second meal on the same day! Our brunch was just the start. The steak and eggs were cooked to perfection, a classic done exceptionally well. The Hog & Hops, a brilliant combination of crispy bacon and a perfectly paired beer, was simply addictive. We also savored the Velvet Fist, a cast iron omelette, a hearty and flavorful dish packed with bacon, prosciutto, sweet and spicy sausage, roasted red peppers, and mushrooms. Each bite was a testament to their culinary skill. We were so impressed, we knew we had to come back for dinner. Dinner continued to impress. The bacon wrapped scallops were a savory masterpiece, perfectly seared and complemented by the rich, creamy scallop potatoes. The crab cake sandwich was so delicious, we could have ate two! Their homemade steak sauce sauce is so good, they seriously needs to consider bottling and selling it. We indulged in the bumbleberry pie for dessert. It was the perfect sweet ending, a comforting and delicious blend of berries that left a lasting impression. Dry 85 offers a fantastic menu, impeccable flavors, and a memorable dining experience. Whether you're looking for a hearty brunch or a sophisticated dinner, this spot is an absolute gem in Ocean City, MD. Highly recommended!

So good!!!! One of the best burgers at Ocean city. I got the chicken sandwich. That sauce is amazing. It was to thick fir me so I took out a chicken patty. And then I ate it later. So good!!! That sauce is amazing. -------------------Visit 2----------------------- My chicken was miserabley small and shrimpy. For reference I have a photo of the chicken that goes with the chicken and waffles and then mine. What a shame. So small that the chicken was either way too hard or some was pink. This was a $12 kids meal. The wait staff helped with lots of stuff ----visit 3---- I had the bacon charcuterie board, donut holes and the bacon roll-up! Both were pretty good! Charcuterie was a bit odd since it wasn't on a board and had nothing you'd expect from a charcuterie board but meat. It had a lot of tasty meats and potato hash. Also some peppers, onions, and an egg. Bacon rollup was very interesting as well, it was sort of like a slice of a loaf of meat and apple encased in bacon. Also pretty tasty! The donut holes were bad. The chocolate was the most bitter thing I've ever tasted and the rest of the donut hole was flavorless, no sweetness to balance the insane bitterness. The cinnamon and powdered sugar were fine. Also very flavorless but at least not bitter.

Arrived here on a Monday evening with a party of 3. We were greeted promptly and sat fairly quickly. Upon being sat our server came over a few minutes later and got our drink order. She dropped off the drinks which were really good, pictured is the whiskey sour. She came back a few minutes later and took our appetizer and food order. The appetizers came out, drinks were finished for a while before she checked back on us. Unfortunately after our food came out and we finished we had to wait some time before she came back over to give us the check. When she finally did come over she took our payment and was gone quite a substantial amount of time before she returned with our credit card. We had plans to be somewhere and gave ourselves plenty of time to eat, leave and be on time but the service didn't make that possible. We understand that she may have gotten busy but the wait after taking our credit card was way beyond what I have experienced anywhere else. As far as the food goes it was fairly good, nothing mind-blowing but the drink selection was exceptional.
