If I could give 0 star I would based on the very rude manager “Gary”! We had a group of 9 and the servers, including ours all seemed very friendly. It was the last day of bike week and we were eating lunch before our trip home. One of the meals was missed and did not come out correctly. We re ordered the meal……no problem, it happens. Server was fast about getting it fixed. We get the check and one add on fry at $2.99 and one full fry at $5.99 were incorrectly added to the bill. That’s a total of $9+ extra. I asked the server to fix that. She took one off but not the other. I asked her to fix it again…..still no problem…..another server jumped in to help fix it. Mean time the manager “Gary” comes up behind them and argues with them about the correction?? She brings correct check back and “Gary” stands at the front of the counter and runs his mouth to the servers again but this time loud enough for all the customers to hear……”you all just giving all kinds of food away for free and it’s rediculous!” OK, first of all he could have come to the table to see what happened, and second jumping his staff in a way to make sure we over heard was extremely unprofessional and mean. I walk up to the counter to ask if there is a problem and he looks up only long enough to say “I’m not talking to you”, then I get brushed off. WOW! Just Wow! So yes, as I walked out I did tell everyone else in the section who heard him they better check their checks cause there’s a lot of mistakes going on……..we only checked ours because we overheard two other tables who had issues with theirs too. I wasn’t asking for anything free. We got our food in the end and it was good. I just didn’t want overcharged. “Gary” is horrible to the staff there and even worse to paying customers! That is normally a regular stop for us but I can guarantee we will never go there again and I will tell everyone I know as well. What terrible customer service by this manager. Shame on you Dough Roller for employing someone in a management...
Read moreLocated across from the Jolly Roger's amusement park, offered a wonderful experience with its delicious food and welcoming atmosphere.
We started off with their pizza, and it was absolutely delightful. The thin and crispy crust provided a perfect foundation for the fresh toppings, which were generously covered with gooey cheese. Each bite was a burst of flavors, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. The pizza at The Dough Roller is a must-try for pizza enthusiasts.
Additionally, their cheese steaks did not disappoint. The tender slices of steak combined with the melted cheese were a winning combination. Served on a soft roll, the cheese steaks were packed with savory goodness. They were a hit with both kids and adults in our family.
One of the highlights of dining at The Dough Roller was its prime location. Being just across from the Jolly Roger's amusement park, we enjoyed a front-row view of the lively boardwalk and the exciting rides. It added a special touch to our dining experience, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere.
The warm and welcoming ambiance of The Dough Roller was another aspect that impressed us. The staff members were friendly and attentive, making sure our dining experience was enjoyable. It was a family-friendly environment where we felt comfortable and relaxed.

Read moreLet me begin by saying I look forward to my pizza and Sangria and dough roller is my first stop for a pitcher of sangria and of course pizza. I've been coming to the dough roller for years, many years probably about 18 years. It may not be my destination after my second visit this week. The place was clean and servers were friendly. So it isn't an employee issue. I ordered my first pitcher of your sangria which is a my favorite. I don't know what the owner is thinking.... I looked at the pitcher that was filled with ice and I guess it was their not improved sangria. Tasted like cheap wine with a few wedges of lemon. In the menu description of the sangria is false and not what they are serving. It is to have assorted fruit, oranges, cherries.... So what I'm saying is for 17$ I got a pitcher filled to the top with ice with some crappy wine they call sangria. Now let's get to the food. Now, tell me how can you mess up a ham and cheese panini and my husband got a cheeseburger sub. I couldn't chew the ham it was tough I took the ham off and ate the remaining cheese and bread. The fries were average. My husband couldn't eat his cheeseburger sub either. Just wasn't good. Poor quality product. It will be a while till I give it another try. If they don't change their sangria they are now serving to the sangria they always served previously, on all my previous visits. I am so disappointed. I did ask my server and he said they changed the Sangria and are receiving complaints. Well first change your description of your sangria. Your description is false. Don't change what isn't broken. I will share this experience with my family and friends that are loyal to the dough...
