I don't understand the hype around these fries. Was my first time in ocean city and wanted to get all the staples, was told I NEED to try Thrashers fries and Dumsers ice cream. I order a small fry I ask if they have cheese sauce, im told in the most monotone voice, no cheese sauce, I ask for ketchup, same thing, no ketchup, almost like I offended them? Took probably 10 min to get the SMALL fry, they're all standing there just staring. Finally got my fries and put some salt on because that was the only option other than apple cider vinegar?? They tasted like frozen fries you get at the grocery store. Didn't finish. Didn't even bother with dumsers after that, won't be returning to the OC boardwalk when Wildwood is so much closer and SO much better. If the employees hate making fries on the boardwalk they should look into a new job, couldn't believe how horrible the service was. This is coming from someone in the service industry over 10 years now. -10/10

Its the bordwalk and depending on time of year, the line can be super long or non existent. Either way their service is pretty shitty and always in a rush. No smiles, no thank yous. They holler out next. You tell them. Ypu pay. They mau dump half the fries on the counter or floor, they may not. Either way theu don't replace them. The fries are.good. They do not offer ketchup and only have Pepsi and Diet Pepsi to drink. They're frssh fries and people.say they are the best but in actuallity.. they're just a french fries. You can put on apple cider vinegar and salt if you like. Their prices are out of this world though. $14 + for a medium than can feed 2-2 people maybe. The seagulls love and are dependqnt on them.. dependant on them. In the end...they're just fries. This picture is a medium and they are usually overfilling a little bit...or sometimes not at all.

The place should be named Trashers. Wish I could give zero stars. These fries were horrible. About 25% were burnt and rock hard, 25% were soggy and saturated with grease, and 50% barely edible. I suppose people line up and buy them because it’s “the thing to do” in Ocean City. But if they were honest with themselves they’d admit it’s a way overpriced mediocre-at-best product. I threw half of the $11 medium sized cup away. (I had a feeling I’d be disappointed. In my experience, most of the boardwalk places where people line up and rave about the product serve garbage.)

Ah, Thrasher's French Fries, the culinary equivalent of a rock concert where the main act is a potato. Here lies a place where time stands still, and patience is both tested and rewarded in the form of golden, fried potato sticks. It's a pilgrimage that every fry aficionado must make, a rite of passage in Ocean City that commands respect, reverence, and a really good pair of standing shoes.

Picture this: A line so long, you'd think they were giving away golden tickets to Willy Wonka's factory. But no, these brave souls are waiting for something far more precious: a bucket of Thrasher's fries. The anticipation is palpable, the hunger grows, and yet, spirits remain high. It's a communal gathering where the shared suffering of waiting is eclipsed only by the shared joy of that first, vinegar-soaked bite.

In this line, time loses all meaning. You might age a year, maybe two, waiting for your turn. Relationships start and end, empires rise and fall, and somewhere, a dog learns to speak. But the promise of those fries, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, seasoned with just the right amount of salt and vinegar, makes it all worth it. It's a culinary quest, where the Holy Grail is fried and served in a paper cup.

Let's not forget the almost religious zeal with which people devour these fries. No ketchup here, folks—this is a vinegar and salt affair. It's as if ketchup were the villain, and Thrasher's fries are the hero in this epic saga of snack food. To even whisper the word "ketchup" in line is to invite looks of disbelief and betrayal. Here, in this sacred space, vinegar is king.

And yet, despite the wait, despite the crowds, and despite the seagulls eyeing your bounty with the intensity of a hawk, one cannot deny the magic of that first bite. It's a moment of pure, unadulterated joy, a taste of summer itself, encapsulated in a fry. Suddenly, all the waiting, all the standing, and all the hype make sense. You're not just eating fries; you're partaking in a tradition, a piece of Ocean City history.

In the end, Thrasher's French Fries isn't just a food stand; it's a test of endurance, a communal bonding experience, and a reminder that some things in life are worth waiting for. So, next time you find yourself in that seemingly endless line, remember: great things come to those who wait, especially if those things are perfectly...

Thrasher Fries is a culinary delight that transports you straight into a world of crispy perfection. With each bite, the golden brown exterior crunches softly, revealing a fluffy, tender center that is nothing short of fry heaven. These aren't your ordinary fries; they're hand-cut and fried to perfection, ensuring that each piece is a unique experience of taste and texture.

The seasoning, though simple, is artful – a touch of salt that enhances the natural potato flavor without overpowering. It's this restrained but masterful approach that sets Thrasher Fries apart. Whether enjoyed on their own or as an accompaniment to your favorite meal, these fries stand out as a star player on any plate.

Moreover, the nostalgia factor cannot be overstated. There's something timeless about Thrasher Fries that evokes fond memories of boardwalks, summer days, and the quintessential American snack experience. Add a dash of malt vinegar, and you have a treat that's both classic and fresh.

Overall, Thrasher Fries is a must-try for any fry aficionado. They redefine what a good fry should be and remind us why the simplest pleasures in life, when done right, are the most satisfying. Five stars for Thrasher Fries, a true testament to the...

If you don't go in expecting a life-changing experience, these fries are some of the best.

I'm going to start by saying I'm not a huge potato guy. If I'm spending my carb balance, it is going to be on things like pasta and mac and cheese. That being said, I do enjoy the occasional fry when I go to Chick fil a or McDonalds.

So where do I fall on the which-fry-is-best boat? For me, greasy is gene really good. Curly fries and tater tots and limp shoe string fries, yum! Thrashers fries are about halfway between a potatoey fry and a greasy fry. Think of a Five Guys fry with twice the grease.

It wasnt the fry I fell in love with - it was the vinegar. I have NEVER been a vinegar on fry guy. Thrashers was my first vinegar fry experience. And what I found when I dug through that golden bucket of grease is that when I hit a fry with extra vinegar, it was a sweet and sour treat to complement the fattiness. I am in love.

So yeah, Thrashers at Ocean City is pretty good. Just expect to wait in a line...
