Chuck E. Cheese — Restaurant in Oceanside

We went there today for my daughter’s birthday. We go there on every single birthday for each of our three kids plus several play dates throughout the year. I will have to rethink that. Today was very disappointing. We got there at 12:25 and was excited we made it there in time for Chuck E’s 12:30 performance. Only problem was, he didn’t come out. We waited several minutes before having to track down the manager and ask. She made it happen but he was about 15 minutes late. My husband and I got the buffet. They had three dinky pizzas out with some lettuce. That’s it. For nearly $9 per person, there needs to be more there. My daughter was excited when I won her 100 tickets on Whack-A-Mole. She said “Yay, now I can get ten tootsie rolls”. We were shocked to see that all the prize values went up. And pretty drastically. Our favorite prize (long tootsie rolls) went from ten tickets each to SIXTY tickets each! Such a bummer! Only one of the five ticket machines was working. I asked the young girl behind the counter for help twice with those but she completely ignored me. I had to track down the manager. Our time there was far more frustrating than fun. When you spend that much money trying to show your kids a good time and you run into multiple issues, it really stinks. Will never take my kids here again!!! I went last night with my 3 children to a birthday party haven't been in here in 3 years. Well, I couldn't believe the place had gotten worse customer service sucks no employees smile or greet you, I went to the female manager with an issue I asked her how long chuck e cheese has been serving alcohol? She stated a long time and I say well it's not a good thing and she gave me a smirkey smile. I was shocked with her immaturity. I said well a lady in the game area had wine and just spilt it all over my 2 boys legs and shoes and now I have to wash their shoes they smell like wine. I said before that she had her wine just sitting there right there with kids playing games so any kid can just grab it . She said well there is a 2 drink maximum I said so..anyone in her party can buy for her and you're not keeping tract of her you have so many people coming up her buying alcohol. She did not apologize and I will never go to Chuck e cheese again. Alcohol should not be served in a kids restaurant/party place makes the environment unsafe ..then you have parents and family members driving under the influence ...we don't need anymore irresponsible drivers out there !!! Not good thinking corporate!!!! Just like the Emile family...my kids got sick that night from the games and play area I'm sure they are not sanitized...

Where do I begin I took my son to celebrate his 4th birthday this past week. Take in mind we just moved to this area and decided to give this Chuck E. Cheese a try (first visit).. so I get there. No one is at the door stamping children and parents.. so I waited about 5 minutes before someone came to help. I get to the register to order. And there is one person taking orders and two other employees handling a familys complaint, it took me another 10 waiting in line to order, afterwards I realized they had switched over to cards instead of tokens. I get my plates find a seat and see they have wristbands to hold the cards so I decide to get up and buy one so my (4year old doesn't misplace the card) when I get to the register some body was ordering In front of me when it was my turn here come 2 more complaints. So the employees dismiss me and handle the complaints first when I was 1. There first 2. I was ready to order, I waited a few minutes before I had enough. In the time I waited I watched employees make faces and give attitude to the customers that where complaint. I didn't want to make a scene since we were celebrating my sons birthday and I wanted him to have fun. So then we go to the restrooom. They have a sign that says "greener and cleaner" yea right!!! my son refused to use the restroom because it was disgusting. And...
