At Vista location. You want to keep customer of 15 years, you should have fulfilled request of giving us the empty table we requested for medical reasons that we never ask for before. it was a special request. Restaurant was not busy. We only needed table for 45 min. Server would not give to us, and so we left. And when I called the other location (mission) to complain to someone who may care or speak to owner, reply from person who answered phone was "yea eat at another restaurant, where they treat you better." Ok, then. I will. I think that comment from employee at the mission location, upset me more than the experience
Oh, okay apparently business is so good, that , you can stand to lose a customer. Ok.
Too bad , I've had many good experiences at ocean Thai. But remember business owners, it only takes one bad experience to ruin a reputation. Ok, I will go elsewhere unless an apology is issued personally by the owner. My name is Robert. We have been loyal, 15 years. We don't expect everything, I don't even want a free meal. I will not accept a free meal, I want an apology from the owner by telephone, if I'm ever to patron your place again. I don't want anyone fired. But I want an apology. Loyalty means something to me, I hope it does to you. People need to understand that a small request would have cost you nothing. You had other huge tables to seat large parties. This was not a very large table, it was in corner, bigger than average but not very large. We only needed it for 45 min, at 430pm, not even dinner time yet. So restaurant was no very busy. Such a small request to lose a customer over, bad business practice. Businesses need to learn small request , especially for loyal customer, is worth larger goal of repeat customer.
Since nobody to speak to that helps, since owner not available, my complaint goes here. I will take down if...
Read moreWhen I first walked in, a waitress greeted me and my 15 month old son and asked if I needed a booster and I said sure because that seems like the only option I had so I took it. We get sat down at a booth and I have a hard time having my son sitting in the booster wishing I had a high chair because my son is too young to know and understand the dangers of falling! Not to mention that the booster had absolutely NO SEATBELTS so I couldn’t secure him. Even though the waitresses see me struggling to have my child sit down, they don’t offer a high chair or assistance. I had no idea they had a high chair UNTIL my son fell from the booth into the metal stands and hit his head and then we went to the bathroom where I saw they had a bunch of high chairs!! It wasn’t until my son was bawling like crazy that the waitresses paid attention to us to help us. I paid and left no tip because I did not receive good customer service and I was so mad that my sons fall could have been prevented! He could have a concussion or serious injury that happened in this restaurant because of the lack of attention and care from the waitresses. When I left, this older waitress followed me out telling me I did not tip and I told her legally I don’t have to and I absolutely did not have a good time. What made me even more mad was that she didn’t even ask me why I didn’t have a good time. She was probably not there to see or hear my son cry but she just kept saying “you did not tip”. I know I didn’t tip and because she did not even ask me, I just told her I did not tip because I did not have a good time and legally I don’t have to pay gratuity. Overall I felt like a neglected customer and I was so mad ready to sue this restaurant if my sons injuries were...
Read moreI’ve eaten here many times and mostly gotten take out. Today I decided to dine in and the food was just okay. It’s been better before. Anyways, I ate by myself and wore headphones while I watched a show on my phone. When it came time to pay, I used my phone to pay online. I didn’t leave a tip since I felt like I might as well have just gotten take out and nobody tried to talk to me. The woman who sat me dropped the menu on the other side of the table and immediately walked away as I sat down. When I got up to leave after paying, i was immediately stopped and told that they needed to check to make sure I paid. I said okay and waited. After she check that I did pay, she questioned me on why I didn’t tip. I was so surprised and shocked at this that I just said everything was fine. She asked again why I didn’t tip and why if everything was good. again, I wasn’t really sure what to say right in the moment so I just shrugged and said things were okay but not good. She told me she didn’t understand and told me to just order take out. Then followed up with “just don’t come back okay?”. I just walked out after. I’m offended and a bit embarrassed at this interrogation in front of other customers. I’ve never once not paid for my food and I almost always leave a tip when I dine in somewhere. I’m disappointed since this was one of my favorite thai places in the area. Such a...
