Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Odessa

My Daughter went to the drive through and paid with her debit card. The girl at the window did not return the card after running it through. My Daughter took off. She lives in Big Spring and didn't knotice she didn't get it back until she was going to stop and put gas. She got an alert telling her that there had been another transaction for a different amount. She tried calling the store but no one ever answered. I went the next day to speak to a manager. And to get my daughters card back. The Managers name was Ashley. She was the worst manager I had ever met. She was rude and had an answer for everything. She is not there for the customers but to cover for her employees before she even knows what really happened. She was trying to tell me what had happened when she wasn't even there nor had spoke to the employee that did the second transaction after my daughter had left. She was trying to get rid of me and didn't really care what I had to say. I asked her if my daughter would get something for the inconvenience and she replied... I'm refunding her the second transaction. Well she owed her that transaction. She wasn't doing anyone a favor. She act like if it was coming out of her pocket. I told her I would contact Corporate Office to let them know how she handled this matter and she replied...go a head. It doesn't bother me. I will never go back to this Jack in the box on...

Third time in a row this has happened. I work very, very long hours in the oilfield, so I come here about 3:30 in the morning. Pull up to order, and the girl asks "is this for door dash or uber eats?" I answer no. Then she claims "our systems are rebooting so I can't take any orders right now, it'll be about 20 minutes". So I say fine, I'll wait. Then she says "if you are gonna wait, can you pull around so it doesn't run my drive time up?" Wait 30 minutes. Pull back in. Same story. "Our system is rebooting, it's gonna be 20 minutes".

This is the THIRD time in a row this has happened. I will never go back, which I'm sure will make that girl that works nights happy so she can just sit around and play on her phone all night and do the few food delivery orders that come in.

Look, if you don't want to do your jobs, find somewhere else to work. No wonder this location is going downhill fast. Hopefully they close it soon and put something in there and hire some people that will actually do their jobs. The Jack In The Box back in South Carolina was amazing and I miss it. Just like everything else in Odessa though, this...

I went through the drive thru ordered a jumbo Jack w/cheese and had asked for a 7 piece jalepeno poppers and next thing I know my 7 piece jalepeno poppers turned into 21 pieces! So I was trying to tell the lady that that was incorrect (I thought I had spoken slow enough for her to understand)but she kept adding to it...then when I tried to stop her her manager gets on the drive thru speaker and accused me of yelling at his employee! Back in the day I was the assistant manager for Jack in the Box, Denison Tx for 4 yrs and I was always taught that the customer is always right! And you are supposed to treat them with respect! And they still screwed up my order because I asked for a cherry vanilla dr. Pepper and ended up with a plain dr. Pepper..And the line was extremely long, they were not prepared for the volume of customers that came, the drive thru was dirty, and the door to the restaurant was broken so if you wanted to go in and sit to eat you would not have been able to. I will never, ever, go back to this Jack in the Box! If there was such a thing as zero stars that is what I would...
