I am only giving a 1 star and here is the reasons why. 1. They have online ordering and an option to pick up inside (note: I opted for this as I know their drive-thru takes foooorever). I get a text saying head that way your order is ready at 9:34PM. I head that way and park like I'm going to get my order only to be told that the inside is closed (no mention of this on the ordering website anywhere)😠 and was told I have to go through the drive-thru.😠 2. Yes, the line was outrageously long.😠 It took me about 30 minutes to just get to the order menu and the window person about another 7-10 min to acknowledge that I was there waiting. 3. Once I indicated that I had an online order she told me to pull up that they had my order. 😠It took another 20 min to finally get to the window. 😠And low and behold my order was not ready. Though the worker was nice, my drinks were not ready and my nachos were not in the bag. And the quesadilla was in a separate bag almost forgotten about. 4. After I finally got my drinks and headed home I noticed I finally got home at 10:38PM.😡 Once I started separating the food which was not labeled so I had to open them all the way to see what was what and guess what...surprise, surprise 2 tacos were missing. Now if this was only for myself I don't think I would of really cared but, it was for my kids and my elderly mom. So I had to ration out the food we had so that we all had something to eat (though very little per each). All in all if you have all the time in the world to wait for an order that I gave a generous 30 min for them to prepare and have no standards as to what you ordered This Taco Bell on 42nd is the place for you. Read moreFor once they were not taking forever, but my son asked for the crunchy burritos two of them without any vegetables. When I got my order, I checked his one burrito was just fine full of me the second one was broken in pieces and barely any meat in it nothing like the first burrito. I’ve asked if they can correct it one of their little girls on the line, caught a whole attitude snatched the burrito off the counter when she started making it, I’ve been asked her if she can add lettuce because my son then changed his mind just for the one that she was correcting. I told her if she could add it she caught a whole attitude, rolled her eyes and was not trying to even be discreet about it. I told her if it’s going to be a problem, she can leave it alone or get someone else, she yelled back at me while it wasn’t on the order I didn’t even see any lettuce on it. I said that is fine but if it’s gonna be a problem you can put the food down and I told her she had the right one today cause I’m not with the foolishness . Amber was her name the young little heifer that was on the line the manager that was on duty her name was Abby and she did give me the district managers name which is David. I will be waiting for a response because that was definitely disrespectful. If I wasn’t mistaken, it was nothing but Mexican people in there and she didn’t have no issues with anybody else that was questioning or having questions about their food but the one and only Black people that were in there. Read moreThe last several times I have gone to one of my favorite fast food places, Taco Bell, they have informed me that there was a 20 minute wait for the food, because they were busy and short handed? I realize how hard it is to hire help in the West Texas oil boom economy, I do. So maybe the answer is pay a little more wage in order to attract more & better candidates?? So this time I actually chose to wait for the 20 minutes for the food, what I watched was horrendous?? Not only are they short handed, they fail to train the employees they have? There were 5-6 tables occupied, and a dozen or so unoccupied, not 1 single table was cleaned off for someone to wait? I got some napkins and cleaned my own 2-seat table off. Watched over the next 20 minutes plus the 15 minutes I took eating my food & many people had to do the same? But interestingly 2 different employees came out to the floor to do what, clean & stack the trays that were left where the trash is dumped? They were maticulas in there efforts to clean & stack those food trays, but each of them were exceptionally S L O W?? So I asked a girl as I was leaving if it ever occurred to her or management that maybe making a run through the dining room and wiping down each table in the slow times when she was not actually taking orders wouldn't make more sense so the customer's you are asking to wait 20 minutes for their food would have a clean table to sit at??
