The woman manager this particular night was very rude! We got seated and the waitress was VERY behind. Waited for her to come to the table for over 15inutes before ny husband had to get up and go find her. Asked her if she was our waitress she said yes and he asked if we could please get drinks. She took our drink order. The guy at the next table was leaving after waiting forever to get his check and he told us "good luck". We tried to put in our food order. We wanted the salad bar and the waitress asked what time it was and it was 858pm. She said the salad bar closes at 9. My husband said we will be fast so we went up to grab plates fast. Everything was still there and full. We started making our plates and a guy comes out of the kitchen complaining that he called last call 15 minutes ago for the salad bar. My husband said I'm sorry but we waited 15 minutes just for the server to get our drink order and food order..that's when the manager called my husband a liar and claimed that she herself at just sat us. The man at the salad bar told us to leave our plates at the bar. We grabbed our son and our coats and left. Have never been treated so rudely. Will not ever go back!!...
Read moreBeing a native of the area, I've been going to Eat N' Park the past 30+ years and my experience has always been great until this occasion. I placed an order for pickup and was given a time that the order would be available. Once arriving, all of the employees (including the manager on duty) were gathered up in a group talking. Not a big deal IF your order is prepared. When approached, I told them what I was there for and my order sounded a bit foreign to the group. Upon verifying, it was blatantly apparent that the order was not prepared. I was then told the the order was "being boxed up". I did not receive my order for an additional 20 minutes after I was given this update. Essentially, what should have been a quick order came out to over an hour in total from the time it was placed.
To those at Eat N' Park, simply DO BETTER. Eat N' Park has always been a staple in the tri-state area but that is because of putting smiles on the face of your customers and providing great service. When this does not happen, you fail. Until this happens consistently, I can no longer recommend people...
Read moreWent for breakfast. So nice to see this place busier than it has been. Service was good, food was really tasty. Got a lot for what we paid.great place for a Saturday breakfast.
Went back a few weeks later, around 10pm. They close at 11. Enough time to eat. The hostess and our server were overheard making comments about us not being “happy enough” or something. We kept getting told “one second” then the server would disappear for 5 minutes. Ordered applesauce; it never came despite the server saying they’ll be right back with it a couple different times. Oh, and the kitchen decided it was time to blast their music starting at 10:15 to the point that was heard over the music playing in the dining room. Everyone seemed to be in too much of a hurry to leave. At 10:45 someone came in the door and our server said “you almost got stabbed” when they realized it was another employee and not more customers after exclamations of “you gotta be kidding me!” that someone would dare show up 15 minutes before closing. ¯(ツ)/¯ all in all very different from...
