We went to this restaurant last summer, they set us downstair in a very nice and elegant dinning room, the food was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere very much. We deiced to go again last Friday inviting a couple, friends of ours, who have never been there, we promised them a great experience instead this time they accommodated us upstairs on a very small table by the wall, the table itself, like all the other up there, looked poor, just to be nice, and the atmosphere seemed more appropriate for a fast-food than for a supposedly upper scale restaurant . The menu was listed as "winter menu" and it didn't look at all like what we saw last time, maybe they saved the best one for the clients accommodated in the main dinning room downstairs. This one was more limited and with prices way higher than last summer, well, we said, everything went up... but the worst was the food, really bad and no flavor at all, three of our meals were served on what they called "risotto" which was unflavored and barely cook rice. Now tell me that I don't know what a risotto is, well I was born in Italy, I lived there the first 40 years of my life so I can say that I know what a risotto is. Bottom line: none of us ate the whole meal and we didn't ask for any box to take home the leftover. The dessert saved the situation a little, a tiramisu' not bad at all. Considering the very high prices, we paid over $150 dollars (tip not included) for one appetizer, one soda four main entries and two desserts, we expected something better therefore we are not planning to go to this restaurant anymore. One more advice: we were all just coming out from our offices after a long day of work and although we were dressing appropriately maybe we we didn't look elegant enough to deserve the main dinning room: if you decide to go there try wearing a tuxedo: maybe you will be more...
Read moreIf you’d like to host an event here… I’m gonna tell you right now, DON’T DO IT. Lisa is quite possibly the worst person you could ever work with. I don’t know how this restaurant is still running with the way she so freely displays her attitude at all times. She doesn’t return calls or emails. She doesn’t communicate at all. The only reason my family and I had a successful event here was because of the communication on our part, which was excessive in order to get her to do the bare minimum, and because of the ONE experienced bartender and ONE experienced server we had… for a 30+ person party. We felt so bad for our server that we even helped her clean up. If you’d like to be lied to several times about your event and the amount of help you’ll get/times you’ll be available to set-up, if you’d like to never even see Lisa or have her introduce herself, if you’d like to be passed around to multiple people at the restaurant which ends up in misconstrued messaging, if you’d like your contract to be wrong even the day-of the event, if you’d like to do all the work as if you run the place + you’re the guest, if you’d like subpar food at best, then Leo’s is for you! Lisa, run your restaurant better. You’re rude, condescending, and have no business working with the public. You should be ashamed of your management skills and customer service. Do better. Act like you actually want this...
Read moreWorst experience ever! My husband and I decide to go on an adventure, we drove 2 hours to get to this restaurant. We went in February 2021 during covid. We phoned the restaurant prior to insure they would be open & confirm they follow CDC guidelines, which was confirmed over the phone that they do. (Took this long to not write a really rude review) Restaurant was almost completely empty, We were seated in a booth with an empty booth between us and another couple. Within 3 minutes another couple was seated in that empty booth! We questioned CDC guidelines & following them, which they apparently were not intending to follow. The response was we can seat people together cause the seat backs are high. Mind you I'm 5'3" & my head was completely visible over the top & there was no additional barrier in place. No effort was made to make any changes to seating for any of us. It wasn't like the place was packed either. There was plenty of room to seat people well spaced out. They chose not to follow CDC guidelines. We chose to leave and tried to speak to to the manager but the man would not even look at us, nor even respond at all he just stood there looking down at the counter, he acted like he could care less about anyone or anything. I would NEVER recommend going to a restaurant that flat out lies to you when you phone them about something as important as CDC guidelines...
