Went to this McDonald's in Niles at 930 at night. Whenever you order McDonald's be sure to use the app to save a bunch of money over getting ripped off ordering off the normal menu at inflated prices.
I wanted to order the 2 dollar ten piece from the app but while sitting in my car in the parking lot trying to order, it was impossible because the store's time was set wrong. The app thought it was breakfast time and therefore I could order breakfast food at 930pm at night but not actually get it made because they were not in reality serving breakfast. It is impossible to change the time in the app and had to be a mistake with the store's setup. You cannot just use the code for the app deals at the drive thru either because since it thought it was breakfast, it will not let you view lunch or dinner deals and get the code.
I'm now wary of going to this McDonald's since I don't know if it'll be worth my time if I can't always get the deals.

   Read moreI ordered two Steak Egg & Cheese bagels (I've been eating them for years) and this time, for the first time, one of my steak pieces were not complete. I called to tell them it looks like a chunk was missing; I was told the steaks fall apart and this happens. I was handed to a manager who told me to bring the meal back (within breakfast time; it's 9:25am and I would have to make it back in time) and they would replace it. I understand if this is policy, but this policy doesn't take into account the fact that 1.) This isn't my mistake. Yet I waste my time, gas, and money to rectify it. 2.) The meal was meant for my husband and now, he has to go without. I was on lunch break to bring it to him. 3.) There is no compensation to me for their mistake. I only receive the same meal, the way I should have the first time, to me and not the person who it is meant for (as I am off of my lunch break!).

   Read moreIâm extremely disappointed with the treatment my grandmother received at this McDonaldâs location. She was verbally accosted by both a staff member and the manager while simply trying to place her order. The order taker became unnecessarily hostile instead of offering basic patience or assistance. If there were issues hearing her, it would have been simple and respectful to ask her to come to the window not escalate the situation.
Whatâs worse, the manager proceeded to call my grandmother a âheffaâ and threw her money at her. That level of disrespect toward anyone, especially an elderly customer, is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
We have never had any problems with this location before, which makes this experience all the more disappointing. I have already contacted corporate, but I wanted to share this publicly as well. No customer especially someoneâs grandmother should ever be treated this...
