Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Ohio

Of all the places I travel across the country, Outback Steakhouse can usually be found. This is my most visited sit down restaurant chain. I like the consistency around their food and service.

This location served up good quality food. My medium rare steak was truly medium rare. My baked sweet potato was perfectly cooked and prepared as I asked. The salad prior to the meal arrived quickly after I ordered and was as I expected. Awesome kudos to the kitchen crew.

My server was the bartender and she did perfect. She was nice and pleasant but not too chatty. She checked in when she should and attempted to upsell as she should. Definitely showed attention to the experience Outback delivers on.

The only reason I didn't provide five stars is due to an employee I didn't personally interact with. I'm sure she is very nice but no one wanted to hear about her feet issue. She should know her voice carries and the entire bar area and side tables could hear her talk about everything. She kept saying she had "cold tootsies" and even asked her co-workers to touch them as she was standing at the back of the bar. One of her employees said "(Employee Name) has a wet feet problem." After acknowledging that no one wanted to touch her feet, she said "both of you literally don't care." Keep those personal problems back in the break room girl, people trying to work and customers are trying to eat.

Overall I like the restaurant and know with feedback the experience...

I take it back on July 12 took our oldest daughter in for her birthday told the waitress it's her birthday. Ordered our appetizer and food the bloomin onion and shrimp dip dip was cold and the onion was soggy with oil I said something to the waitress she acted as if i was bothering her she brought our food my wife's steak was well done she asked for medium my daughter's steak was rare and she asked for medium we got what looked like over cooked shrimp added a pound of crab legs extra we got what looked like a picked over left over pieces of crab the couple next to us ordered pound of crab legs and it was three times larger than ours for a over a hundred dollar bill this was uncalled for I will contact corporate about this . To top it all off it took the waitress for ever to get our bill back to us because she misplaced my wife's credit card and she forgot to do the birthday celebration for our sweet 16 year old . Thank you ruining her birthday and pissing us off we will not be returning to this location ever again . One bad experience is bad enough but to have three in one year is just...

This place would have got much higher rating but .... My wife ordered the Cobb Salad with chicken. Due to our low carb diet she has got this 5 times since the reopen for table service. We understand that since covid some products ar not available and restaurants have cut down their options. What they brought was not a Outback "specialty salad" Cobb salad. It was a house salad with chickin on it. The Cobbs are beautifully put together in sections. With mixed greens, hardboiled egg, bacon tomatoes. This was a pile of chopped iceberg tomato and cheese. When we said thats not a Cobb the very nice waiter said thats a house with chicken and took it away. Somebody brought it back out it was the same salad with a spoon of chopped egg and bacon bits. He said everything is on it. ?? We said this is not a cobb but we are hungry and on the road. It sucked. And should have at least been reduced. My steack was great and the staff lovely. If they just said we cant make that, all would have fine with a 2nd choice. Dont try to pass inferior product on people and hope they...
