I haven't been to a Chuck-E-Cheese in a long time, things have sure changed! In case you haven't been in a long time I will explain how the gaming works now (at least at this location). You buy a card, instead of tolkens, which is loaded with a certain amount of time. We paid somewhere around $20 for 45 minutes. In 45 minutes, with one card that my husband, myself, and our son took turns using, we earned around 700 tickets. While my son played a game that took a while (and doesn't yield many tickets) I played the quick games that give a lot more tickets. I would recommend sharing the card, I think giving each person a card is how they're making extra money. Also, the time starts with the first play, so eat first!!!!
This location was staffed with kids who are more interested in flirting then doing work. The food was mediocre at best; nuggets were overcooked, I think I got high blood pressure just from the salt on the fries, there was entirely raw spinach and mushrooms on our pizza, and grease pouring off the breadsticks. I had to ask a girl who was giggling over the walkie (standing behind the salad bar) to refill several empty items in the salad bar, and at closing time they just wrapped up the stuff that had been out on the salad bar, I can only assume to use the next day. It's been a while since I've worked in food service, but I'm pretty sure if food has been out on a buffet line it's not supposed to be reused. Also, they lost their license to sell alcohol, so there...
Read moreWe had made a reservation at the beginning of summer break to come to the establishment from 12pm and stay our 90 minute allotted time. We had 19 kids and 2 adults. We arrived and were seated 10 minutes before our time started, we paid and waited for over an hour for our pizza to arrive making our kids wait and become very impatient. When we first asked where our pizza was we were told that we needed to tell them when we wanted it and about 15 minutes after that we got an apology saying that they were just backed up in the kitchen. We then asked if we could just take our pizzas with us and instead of asking us when we wanted them they gave them to us quickly and now they will be cold when we arrive back to our center. This is the third year in a row our daycare center has come to this establishment for our end of summer field trip and this is our first year to encounter any problems. We as well as our kids are disappointed and won't be returning. This was for our kids and they had an hour and warm pizza promised to them and hour let down. It's a disgrace to let kids down. This place is a joke. My daughter wants her birthday here in August and it won't be happening. I suggest better communication and a way to make it up to these kids. It's not a good way to end these kids...
Read moreWe've spent several birthdays here for both of my grandsons. This visit is our first since the remodel. We (the adults ) Love the changes. Employees were friendly other than my daughter felt pressed to make the payment for the party as if we were going to walk the ticket. We were obviously staying awhile after our time at the party table came to an end because we moved kids, drinks, and presents to a regular table. Overall it was an enjoyable, clean, friendly atmosphere. I will definitely recommend this place to people with children of all ages due to the variety of things to entertain all. The Best thing about Chuck E Cheese is that if you arrive with a child you both get your hands stamped with a stamp that shows under ultraviolet light and that child cannot go out the door without the adult they arrived with. As a grandmother to 2 young boys, I think this process is just amazing. It helps reduce the stress of...
