I Love Donuts — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

This place opens up at 430 am. So decided to go here since I was up and it was the only donut store opening this early in the morning. I arrived at 425am but all the lights were off and no cars in the parking lot. I suppose I assumed someone would be inside prepping/making donuts. So at 430 a man and a woman drove up and opened up the shop and turned on all the lights. I was still in my car a bit confused. I was wondering if they had any donuts at the time since they barely arrived. But I decided to go in to check. They had donuts displayed. So decided to get 4 since I was a bit skeptical about them. I arrived home and took a bite. Gosh, was I very disappointed. Not fresh at all. (Kinda already knew that tho) very greasy. Way too much butter and sugar. Tasted like toast. So I’m guessing they make the donuts in the afternoon and leave them for in the morning. I’m not trying to be mean or bad mouth this place but I know that donut shops have the best donuts early in the morning. Maybe they should try using...

They make their own dough and it tastes W A Y better than other doughnut places dough in OKC at least. It is smooth soft and almost creamy. They always have special holiday themed doughnuts and are very cute!

This donut shop is a must try! I highly recommend this shop, the staff was so friendly and kind. I have been in the shop when it's been busy and they always try their best to go as quick as possible but to get fresh donuts for each customer. I really enjoy the non-jalapeno sausage rolls, very flaky and warm. I also really like that they sell "mini" sausage rolls too. But wow the donuts are fantastic. My personal favorite is the cinnamon twist, hands down some of the best donuts I've ever had. And if you can get one that's just cooling off from the oven, it's melt in your mouth. Honestly, if I could give this place more than 5...
