My family and I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times before. We are from Oklahoma City and normally stay with my mother but her home was destroyed last year during all the tornadoes and floods and so now when we visit we have to stay in a hotel.
The first visit was great! The room was great, low noise, high floor, pretty much all my request were meet including our normal voucher for 2 free water bottles. The second visit wasn't so nice. The bathroom needed many repairs and we had to keep asking for towels. We are a family of 4 and I don't know why they would only put 3 sets of towels in the room. Go figure! We did get our 2 free water bottle vouchers though.
Now, the third and very last visit was a nightmare. Actually, my husband is the only one that stayed there this time because now my mom's house is finished and so me and the boys stayed with her and he got a room. (Longer story). I'm writing the review for him.
The first huge problem with this visit was that they would not give him the military rate we always get at every hotel we stay at including this one for the other two previous stays. They told him that he had to show orders but this isn't true. My husband is active in the Air Force and we've always just showed our military id's. I've booked a room here online before in my name and when we got there I was just asked for my military spousal id and that's what I did and we were given our military discount.
It's one thing for a hotel to have certain policies for how they do things but when they have allowed something already twice then I expect the same all the other times. This was very unacceptable and it left a really bad taste in our mouth because it made him (us) feel like this hotel doesn't support the military and just for that we do NOT plan to return.
Last but definitely not last, The biggest problem that was encountered on the third visit was the hotel charging our charge card twice. They claim they only see one charge but we called our bank and they clearly stated we were charged twice. The charge is NOT pending like the hotel tried to implicate as a way for us to relax and wait until the charge fell off. This happens to not be the case and we have the bank and the account charges to prove but they simply do NOT care about any of that. We even call corporate but they also, would not do anything about the matter at this moment but told us they would give the hotel three days to rectify the situation but they doesn't give us much hope.
We were charged twice for the SAME day for the exact same amount. Mind you the charges were for one night and food. The receipt they gave us says we were only charged once but our bank account has two charges and it seems like we are out of money and they didn't even give us the military rate.
Our bank offered to do a conference call with the hotel to let them know we were indeed charged twice and that the charges are from the same credit card and not a credit card and debit card, which was Angie, at the hotel and corporate also, implicated but they couldn't care less if we did. Angie just kept telling my husband there was nothing she could do. I think we would know if we had two different charges on two totally different accounts.
I think they should have some kind of way to handle this type of situation when it comes up when they screw up royally like they did with us. We like they have stolen from us and we can't do anything about it but try to dispute it on our side with our bank. We may or may not get our money back. My husband is a stickler when it comes to money and bills so he's already paid the credit card bill but it just isn't fair that a hotel could charge you twice, somehow make it appear to be only once so they can say they can't do anything about and the customer has to just deal with it.
Needless to say we will NOT be going back to this hotel.
P.S. My husband did NOT get his free voucher for a...

We called to the hotel to specifically check that there was a complimentary breakfast (I am a Hilton Honors member) and was told that it was available. At check-in we were given breakfast vouchers good from 7 am to 11am. I’m a frequent traveler for both business and personal travel. My husband and I are accustomed to a certain level of ambient noise and guest noise at hotels that rarely bothers us. I’m a very sound sleeper. However, the noise from the room/s above us the first night of our 2-night stay was extraordinarily loud and raucous and included loud yelling (every word easily discernible to us), shouting/ cheering, group chanting (the sort you would hear at a bar when people cheer someone who is ‘chugging’ beer), stomping, banging that sounded like furniture crashing into other furniture, loud music, and laughter. We called the desk twice who assured us they’d handle it—-but to no avail. The next morning the kitchen/breakfast was only available to a private party (we were eventually told this inconsiderate guest making the noise was part of this party). No arrangements were offered or available for our breakfast—not even drinks. When we inquired at the desk we were offered pre-wrapped stale pastry. We left and bought breakfast elsewhere at the last minute (before fast food restaurants stopped serving breakfast).
The room had obviously not been adequately vacuumed. Unfortunate since the accommodations were newer and quite nice.
Night two was a repeat performance so we checked out around midnight and went to a different nearby hotel.
Obviously the owner and manager of this hotel don’t care to accommodate individual guests with even their basic promises. They obviously prioritize their large groups over individual guests nor do they empower their staff to handle these disturbances. Our charges were cancelled, but even this didn’t adequately offset 2 sleepless nights with a long drive ahead of us and the added breakfast expenses for 4 people. We have other options that we’ll patronize in the future since we visit the...
Read moreThe room I got had a jacuzzi. Cool, right? Not if it is set so high that you have trouble getting in and out. If you are 7 feet tall, I guess it may not be an issue. The carpet around it was tore up as well. The next day when we went down for breakfast, there were 2 waitresses. One looked like she doubled as the cook. The other was wearing leggings with Nike on them. She also had a sweater tied around her waist. As if that was not enough, you had to stand near their toaster. It is the type where you place your items on a "roller" and it goes thru the heater coils and then slides out. If you are not standing there waiting, it will slide out and straight to the floor. It happened to me and 2 other guests. And the checkout process was horrible. I am tax exempt for Governmental reasons. The clerk asked if the credit card said Government on it and if they were paying. To which I said yes. Then he wanted a Government ID. Just because someone works for the Government does not mean they get some sort of special Government ID. When I said I had none, he refused to remove the taxes. I have been a Hhonors member since 2002. I am a Lifetime Diamond member which means a lot of stays at a lot of Hiltons. Never in all those years have I been asked for a Government ID. If someone is using a Government credit card, pretty sure tax exemption is not a concern for them. I called the manager to complain and as of this writing, no response.i will never stay at or...
