I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT
I was at this location to pickup a curbside order but had to go inside because the app wasn’t working. One of the employees followed me in from what I assumed was a break because she was coming from the other side of the building. I went and picked up my order as it was the only one on the self and I checked the receipt to make sure it was my order, it was she stopped me by putting her hand on MY CHEST. I just stood there for a few seconds because I wasn’t even sure what was happening, cause surely this wasn’t real, was it? She then grabbed the receipt and said is this “YOUR order?” I told it was and ran out of there shaking and just wanted to get home. I didn’t say anything to my husband for awhile and finally broke down (I’ve been through some trauma) and told him what happened. We decided to call and get the district manager’s information to file a complaint and ask for an apology because at the time that was truly all I wanted. I called this location and happened that the general manager answered and he told me that women that assaulted me was the mother of the district manager and I probably wasn’t going to get any response or results. I thought I will try anyway. This manager did say that that have had similar concerns with her and would have another conversation with her. (Not acceptable) I got ahold of the district manager and I explained what transpired with his employee/mother and he responded with “ok” I said “ I’m sorry? Wait, I should not be the one apologizing you should be!” And, He replied and said that was right and hung up.
To say that I am less than pleased is far from the truth. Just because she is older does not excuse her bad behavior or actions. And she could have put her hands on the wrong person and something so much worse could have happened. I am not going to explain all that this has caused because she feels, as does her son, that this is a normal behavior. All I wanted was a simple apology.
I will not be eating at Jimmy John’s today, or tomorrow or any time in the future. Their failure to recognize the hurt they have caused is unacceptable.
Please do better...
Read moreI have been here several times. When the GM is running the drive-thru, everything is fine. Whenever he's NOT there, something gets screwed up.
Two times that stick out:
Went through to get myself and my daughter dinner. Her sandwich was fine. Mine? I ordered a country club. Got home, sat down, started to eat, realized it's definitely NOT right. Absolutely no ham, turkey, or cheese on it. Just mayo, onions, peppers, oil and vinegar, and oregano. Seriously? 1) It wasn't like it was lunch rush and busy. 2) I know for a fact you have to learn the whole sandwich menu when you work there. I used to manage one years ago and STILL remember the list. 3) It is NOT that hard to make a sandwich when the ingredients are on a receipt RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE! And you want me to turn around and drive back to your store, waste my time and gas when I've already wasted my money, so you can give me a free cookie? Screw your cookies.
Instance number two. I hate mayo. It grosses me out. A little is okay for flavor, but it should be pooled up in a sandwich and drip out when you take a bite. IF i ever order with mayo, it's always easy mayo. Nope. While it was repeated more than once when I ordered, taking into consideration their portion sized, they definitely put extra mayo on it and no Dijon, as per my order. I couldn't eat half of it. IT. IS. NOT. THAT. HARD. PEOPLE.
May seem petty, but the point is, you have one job. You may not like the sandwiches you make, but guess what? You don't have to eat it and you didn't pay for it. I will never go to this store again or any other Jimmy John's in this area. This franchise seems to have an issue with hiring relatively...
Read moreI rarely leave reviews like this, but our experience here was unacceptable and deeply disappointing.
When my friend and I (two Black women) entered, we were the only customers asked if we were DoorDash drivers—something that was not asked of the other customers (who were not Black) that came in after us. We ordered before everyone else, yet several people who came in after us were served first.
Once the shop cleared out, we expected our sandwiches to be made next. Instead, the staff pulled tickets from the back and placed them at the front, clearly preparing to make new orders before ours. It wasn’t until we asked how much longer it would take that the staff member, with visible frustration, abruptly started making our sandwiches, saying, “I’m going to make the sandwiches right now.” Along with making our sandwiches sloppy the black one says to his other team mate who refused to bag our sandwiches that “we’re just gonna have to wait.”
From that moment, the tone shifted. While every other customer received their food in a bag with napkins handed directly to them, we were told, “Ladies, your sandwiches are ready for you at the end.” No bag. No napkins. We had to get those ourselves. It felt intentionally dismissive—especially considering that I had just calmly said, “That’s fine, we could’ve just asked for a refund and left.”
This wasn’t just poor service—it was laced with microaggressions. The unequal treatment was blatant. I hope management takes this seriously. Every paying customer deserves to be treated with the same basic respect and...
