The Japanese cheesecake is great. I’m not accustomed to the high sugar content in desserts here in the US, and these are so perfect. BUT- 2 things: how can they charge $9 for a slice of cake? I think that’s insane. The price went up again since last time. And, is this really made in store? I don’t feel like it is. They don’t seem to know basic info of their cake ingredients.. I asked how much sugar was in the Japanese cheesecake and they couldn’t give a proper answer except “less than American cheesecake”. How can you not know what you are selling? I asked again last time and they said “it’s pre prepped”. Whatever that means.. I think this is important for people selling their own food to know, some customers have dietary restrictions / needs. Plus, see the pink Cheesecake photo. It comes wrapped in plastic, like it was shipped in. Am I just paying a 3rd party to ship in cakes from elsewhere? The difference in look is very vast to the pictured cakes vs some other cakes on display. Some cakes on display look “homemade” where as this looks flawless and...
Read moreI got the Hokkaido cupcakes, egg tarts and the cheesecake. All were amazingly Delicious! And so reasonably priced. I wish I had thought to buy more egg tarts! They were so good and bite sized so I was able to eat them and not feel carb guilty. The Hokkaido cupcakes were light and full of natural flavor. The vanilla custard in the center was the stuff of dreams. If I were serving a fancy party they would be a must have and the cheesecake was a treat I had heard about but was never sure I would be able to try here in the U.S. I'm so glad I found ling's cakery, these tasty treats are something I would have never known without them. I will be a repeat...
Read moreI’ve frequented this cakery multiple times now for slices of their crepe cakes and have enjoyed it each time. Ling’s is not your standard cakery if that is what you’re looking for. They provide a variety of flavors of crepe cakes that are creamy, fluffy, and not overly sweet (so you actually taste the true flavor of the cake). There are also other varieties of cakes, like Japanese Cheesecake, that I haven’t tried yet, but I’m positive they will be just as flavorful as what I have tried. As an FYI, the price point does reflect the quality of work and time and care taken to provide a tasty treat. I highly recommend trying one of their...
