Quincy Bake Shop — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

The pastries here are AMAZING! As someone who has traveled in Europe and misses European pastry, it is wonderful to have quality pastry here in OKC. The only problem is that they often run out of supply early in the day. They love to market their product online (eg Instagram), which seems to be their primary method of communicating with customers, but when they sell out of a product they don’t inform their customers. For example, after announcing their exciting new Czech sausage roll, the owner told me they would have them available on Saturday—I drove up there, and even before 10:30 am, they were already gone. When I messaged Quincy that day, they did not respond to me. I understand if products sell out—it’s a great problem to have—but the lack of communication and follow-up to a customer’s message is concerning and does not meet the standards of customer service we expect from Bradford House and Quincy. They have excellent pastry, but good luck—they may not have much inventory...

I contacted Quincy Bake Shop for a last minute gender reveal cake, and after speaking with Erica she was also able to make my daughter’s 2nd birthday cake. Firstly, both cakes turned out amazing! We had lemon cake with blueberry preserves and chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream — both were absolutely delicious. The cakes were fluffy and moist with great flavor and the buttercream was silky smooth. My husband, who doesn’t like buttercream/frosting, said it was the best he’s ever had and actually ate all of it (he usually scrapes it off). We also had a few macarons on the birthday cake which were lovely in flavor and texture. I had formerly used another bakery in the OKC area that we liked but always found their cakes a bit dry and overly sweet/sugary. After trying Quincy’s I will be getting all my cakes from them!

I had a wonderful experience with Quincy Bake Shop! My family and I wanted to do a last minute gender reveal and I called with the expectation that my cupcakes might not be doable due to the last minute notification. The first lady I spoke with advised that they suggest a 72 hour notice for custom cupcakes. Totally understandable and I let her know it probably wouldn’t work for me since I needed them last minute. She then got the baker on the phone who said that they could make it work for same day and said it with nothing but a happy attitude! I was fully prepared for it to go a different way but was so happy that they were willing to accommodate me when they didn’t have to. The cupcakes were super yummy and were a big hit at our lowkey gender reveal! They made my experience all the way around great and because of this I’ll be returning for future events..
