We had a wonderful first experience here.
To start, we ordered the Burrata and Prosciutto appetizer—fresh, light, and a great way to begin the meal (we needed more bread, but that's pretty much always a thing). For the entrée, we had the Tagliatelle Bolognese with meatballs. The noodles were homemade and very fresh-tasting. The sauce was rich and deeply flavorful, and it was easily the highlight of the night—at least until dessert arrived.
The Ricotta Cake with diplomat cream and lemon curd was the perfect finale. It struck a beautiful balance of sweet and savory with a little crunch—a flawless end to the meal.
For drinks, I enjoyed a Pisco Sour while my wife had a glass of JCB Brut, which were both excellent pairings.
Part of the reason we visited was because one of our favorite bartenders in OKC, Jacob, recently moved here. The service was unsurprisingly attentive and warm. We were also greeted by Zack, one of the managers (and a familiar face from another restaurant), who made us feel especially welcome.
Prices are in line with other restaurants of this quality, and the freshly made food, superb service, and inviting atmosphere made it well worth it.

Read moreMalfi is the perfect addition to the OKC restaurant scene. We have some amazing food, and award-winning chefs in this city, so the bar is high. Malfi did not disappoint.
They’ve transformed the old Packard’s building into a light-filled, Italian-themed, coastal vibe. (Not the heavy-handed overtly “Tuscan” decor so many “Italian” places in the States get wrong.)
The service was impeccable. Servers were attentive, kept our drinks filled, knew when to check in, and weren’t overbearing.
The menu is printed on newsprint, which was a nice, unexpected touch.
On this visit I had the tagliolini with grilled chicken and my friend had the spaghetti with meatballs. The food was cooked to perfection, seasoned just right, and came to the table in a timely fashion.
We didn’t have any cocktails on our lunch visit, but the selection looked delicious.
I’m so happy to see a high-quality restaurant anchor this corner of 10th and Robinson.
This place will definitely be in my regular rotation for OKC dining. Cin...
Read moreA New Yorker's Take on Italian Being a New Yorker with a large Italian family, I've had my fair share of red sauce joints. When it comes to Italian food, there are a few non-negotiables: good company, a heaping plate of pasta, and an endless supply of delicious bread. So when our $4 "bread service plate" showed up, I was a little underwhelmed, to say the least. It was a couple of dainty pieces of dare I say stale hard sourdough. While the staff was friendly and the drinks we ordered were tasty, the cocktails were limited, which left me with a tough decision to make. Ultimately, the food was good, and while the bread situation wasn't up to snuff, I'll still be back I'll just have to bring my own...
