I went with family (do not have a membership) but I enjoyed spending time with my family and helping them shop. The store is big but the main reason is to purchase in bulk so you don’t have to purchase things as frequently with you just getting large amounts of things to last for you a long time, it’s owned by the Walmart franchise but is just a bigger Walmart with other amenities for the price you are paying. Prices are fair for it being a membership but I would expect the membership to represent the purchasing of items but I guess the membership is only for a entry fee and does not include any items or anything with those being seperate fees, being a con. The store is not that bad overall, just a little expensive considering all the factors. The associates are friendly, I have no complaints besides what is previously stated but I would not advise to go here if you are an ordinary person. It is really for businesses who need large quantity’s of items or individuals who do not want to leave there house or make a singular purchase lasting them a long time, but overall you would be better sticking with target or Walmart or something more average, this is not my really time of deal but meh. It’s also kind of located in a bad part of town, this was seen whenever we went shopping and I left with a family member in there vehicle in which we walked out in the parking lot and loaded up our groceries and while we’re getting in it appeared that there was to be some sort of liquid or soda being spilt on the side of my family’s truck. It seems like a customer absolutely thought it would be hideously funny to mess with another customers property but it was not, I found this hideous and we had to get a car wash right after because of this which absolutely pissed us off. Consider the options, there are...
Read moreI came in-store on 2/15 and seen I was being charged a renewal for a basic membership and I currently have a plus membership. So I went to guest services to inquire and was met with an unpleasant experience from Fatima. I was being charged the last 2 years for a membership I upgraded from that was never closed out and I didn’t catch it last year. I ask about closing the account and receiving a refund for both years, since it didn’t fall as my responsibility to close the account since you have to speak with someone to upgrade. Fatima informed me in her words that she would only refund the pending charge and the other charge was my fault for not catching. When I asked to speak with a supervisor she goes to the other associate and mentions me indirectly about being difficult. I find it very frustrating that I cannot simply ask questions to someone who signed to answer questions. If I’m being nice to you I respect the same in return, my questions should not intimidate you because I need clarification on a process that should’ve have been handled at the store level. Patricia the manager comes and refunds both charges and explained everything and made sure the old account was closed completely. Fatima proceeded to roll her eyes instead of taking this as a learning opportunity and apologizing for her irritation that I need further clarification as a customer. I am going out of my way to make sure this behavior is known because this is the reason why I don’t want to renew my membership with Sam’s club and will look into Costco for a better shopping experience. This is not appropriate or acceptable where people choose to spend their money and they are met with an unpleasant employee that doesn’t want to grow and develop into someone more in their career. Do...
Read moreThey always have long lines the last time I was there I was in the shortest line and had 13 people ahead of me due to the lack of lanes open. What makes no sense is that they have a couple people with handhelds walking around and ringing you up while you are in line but won't use these same people to open up a few more lanes? ... ridiculous rules such as putting cases of soda and water on the belt instead of just letting the cashier scan your stuff while it is still in the cart. I had to lift 3 cases of monster and 6 cases of water out of the basket and then load it back so the tiny cashier lady didnt break her back. I guess they are afraid you might steal something? I thought the person at the door on your way out was supposed to prevent shoplifting....deals are really not that great when you put pencil to paper unless you are a business owner (gas station, ect), and a majority of their own brand name stuff member mark is not that great. I have also noticed lately that wal mart and Sam's Club has people constantly trying to convince you into buying something like cable service, phone service and cashiers constantly trying to upgrade your membership or con you into getting one of their credit cards. I wish Costco would make its way to Oklahoma City because they truly have a membership worth having opposed to Sam's Club. Will definitely not be renewing my membership, it is not worth the...
