Not even worth one star!!!!!! I've had iPhone screens replaced, many times, over the years and this is by far the strangest, and WORST experience ever. I filed a claim, on Asurion, paid the $29, and selected the closest location to me. Went in with a completely functioning phone, besides the crack in the screen, and left with it not working at all. They said it would take an hour, at most. I gave them a number to call or text me when it was done. It was less than an hour, and we got a text from "Thomas" saying it was done. When I went back to the store, the guy came out of from the back, with my phone, screen replaced, but it was on the restore screen. He said they had sent that text prematurely and it wasn't going to be ready for awhile. He said they were having a problem with the program they run it thru and that he was calling his manager to see what to do. He said I wasn't the first that it had happened to and they were able to fix it. I left and came back about thirty minutes from them closing, because I still hadn't heard back. When I went in, he gave me a torn sticky note with the claims department for Asurion. He said he had bad news, my phone was irreparable. I was shocked and didn't even know what to say, but I did ask for his name and number. He wrote Sam on a business card. He told me to get back on the claims website and file another claim and that he had marked it as unsuccessful, so I'd be able to have a replacement sent out without the usual charge. He said they are quick to send them out so I should have it by the next day. I said I didn't have my phone to do that, but I went outside and used another phone to call the claims department. The claims woman from Asurion was super helpful and helped me with everything, immediately. She said they had marked it as successful, so she was unable to make the claim until she talked to someone above her, but she kept me on the phone while she did that. I went back to the store and let her talk to Sam, and he told her on his end it was marked as successful, and said there was nothing else he could do on his end. She did get a claim filed, and they are sending me a replacement, but since it was the weekend, it will be Monday before they ship it, and I should have it on Tuesday. I am thankful, she fixed everything that she could and was very sweet and helpful, thru all that chaos. uBreakiFix was absolutely a NIGHTMARE to deal with and not helpful at all. I wouldn't...
Read moreI had got my phone repaired at nano repairs around the area I live and they charged me $275 to fix my screen the first time I broke it. They ended up putting a screen in my phone that was a cheap screen because it started falling out of my phone a week after I had gotten it done so I have them reglue it in and I dropped it from my knees to the floor and it wasn't even concrete below me and it breaks on me again. So they tried to charge me another 150 saying that they were going to give me a discount which actually wasn't a discount because they were going to put another non-factory screen into my phone again. Well I had learned that my phone actually had insurance on it because it wasn't under my name. The plan and I called and did a claim on it and they ended up sending somebody to my home and they had it fixed within 15 minutes in my driveway and they actually put the factory screen that is supposed to be in the phone in it and I haven't had a problem since then. So I definitely recommend this company and I recommend it enough that I ended up applying for a job through them and I've been in training for a week now and I like it so far so definitely all around a good company and keep up...
Read moreI brought my Steam Deck to this uBreakiFix location on May 5th after purchasing Asurion Home+ insurance, which was recommended due to liquid damage issues. I was told I couldn’t file a claim until after 30 days, which I accepted.
On May 25th, I was notified my device was ready for pickup. I paid $103.97 but found immediately that the Steam Deck was not fixed; in fact, it had more problems than before. I returned it the same day.
After ongoing communication, on June 24th, I was told the device was ready again and picked it up on June 26th. Unfortunately, nothing was repaired, and the Steam Deck now has new damage (scuff marks) and software issues (boot looping), which were not present when I first brought it in.
When I tried to file a claim through Asurion, I was met with resistance and was informed that I had been misled about the coverage terms by the uBreakiFix employee. Over the past 7 weeks, I’ve lost time, experienced worsening issues, and paid $29.99 monthly for insurance that has not helped.
I chose this location because of its positive reviews compared to other nearby uBreakiFix shops, but my experience has been disappointing and...
