This is about the S WESTERN location. I use to go to the drive thru fairly often and like the food very much. Service is great, people are great. 3 stars is because of my last visit over a month ago which really ticked me off and I haven't been back. As I said, I like the food. I plan to go back today. However looking at the menu has made me mad again. Last visit I ordered their sampler, which according to every menu online and at that time their drive thru menu too, is SUPPOSE to have HAM. I was ordering this item specifically for the ham and chicken. Picked up the order and got home, there's no ham in the order. I called and was told they no longer serve ham. There was nothing on the drive thru menu showing this change, nothing was said when I called in the order and nothing was said when I picked up the order at the drive thru. They substituted pulled pork which I don't like. This is a lot of money for me as I live on a fixed income in senior citizens housing. If they had told me or had a note on the drive thru menu, I could have changed my order. I called and asked to talk to the manager about not notifying customers when they order that they no longer serve ham. She never apologized, her tone made me feel that I was being ridiculous to complain and she told me she had told the person who takes care of their website to take ham off and she would check herself to see if it was still there. In other words she didn't believe me that ham was still on the website. I was aggravated before but her attitude made me angry. I haven't been back and didn't think I ever would. I'm thinking about biting my tongue and going there today. While looking at the menu I noticed HAM IS STILL LISTED ON THE SAMPLER! She had an attitude that I was in the wrong and not telling the truth about the stupid ham being there at that time and it's still there all this time later. Everyone else I've dealt with there has been great. The food is great. Service is great. That manager is the only lousy thing there so I plan to go back to the drive thru today and trying to prepare myself that ham will still show on the drive thru menu and there will still be nothing to show they don't serve ham and you will get pulled pork instead. I guess this sounds petty and maybe it is. But as I said spending $20 for a meal is a big deal to me and to not get what I thought I was buying and then to have a manager be very rude and be exasperated that I had even complained really made me mad. I hope she is no longer works there! Okay, that's being vindictive but it makes me feel better to voice it even though I'll never know. I'm trying to concentrate that one person with extremely lousy people skills shouldn't ruin my experience with this restaurant and that my order today will go well and I will enjoy eating...

The problem is, they are hit or miss on food. Their service is almost always excellent, never poor. BUT their food is hit or miss, especially their ribs. They really need some quality control and a cook/chef that has the authority and willingness to throw away bad food.
On our last visit, 10/4 at about 5:30p, the ribs were so bad they were literally like eating shoe leather. We also took the opportunity to try their 'Jumbo' chicken wings. While I loved the flavor on their chicken wings, they too were way overcooked, and they were far from Jumbo (or even large). You'd almost think they'd come from a pigeon rather than a chicken.
I plead with Brett Swadley to spend more time in your restaurants and QC your food, especially the ribs, especially during peak hours, before serving them to your customers. You are going to lose frequent visitors like us if this inconsistency continues. We do not pay $50 for 2 two rib dinners to be practically inedible.
I will say that the rolls are always delicious, and we've never had a problem with sides, but this is a BBQ joint and there needs to be a focus on the quality and cook of the meets...

Always fine when I dine in but when I get it delivered I not only get shortchanged but they give me nothing but fat and grissle. This has only been happening the last few months, but after three times I done ordering food there. Last time I got a 2 meat with burnt ends and sliced brisket which both I had to pay extra for after door dash already gouges u. There there three tiny little cubes of burnt end, 2 litterly being nothing but solid fat and 3 tiny little half slices of brisket about 2.5 inch’s long . Which for some reason was tough this time … for 30 bucks seriously that’s all ? U used to give me twice as much and it was always awesome. Now I get no meat and what I do get are the scraps nobody else wants to eat that’s basically unedible because it’s solid fat. DO BETTER SWADLEYS YOU DONT GO DOWN HILL TOO!!! IM SURE ITS WHATEVER MANAGER HAS STARTED THERE BECAUSE DOOR DASHER ORDERS ARE NOT THERE IN PERSON TO COMPLAIN SO THEY ARE SHORTING THEM AND GIVING THEM THE TRASHY STUFF!
