I’ve been a regular at this McDonald’s location for well over a year now, even though I pass two others on my way to work. Why? Because the team here is more than just efficient—they’re extraordinary. They’ve become a meaningful part of my morning routine, and I want to recognize just how impactful that can be.
David, who has been with McDonald's for over 32 years, initially struck me as a no-nonsense kind of guy. But over time, that changed. He’s become like a grandfather figure to me—genuine, kind, and refreshingly honest. When I asked why I had not seen him in awhile he shared that his hours had been reduced, it stuck with me, because this man is McDonald’s. His dedication over decades deserves to be honored, not diminished.
Then there’s the young woman who reminds me so much of my niece. Our quick chats through the drive-thru have evolved into real conversations. I ask how she’s doing, and I genuinely care about the answer. That doesn’t happen everywhere.
And finally, there’s the newest employee—who immediately recognized me as a regular and memorized my order within days. That’s not just good service, that’s emotional intelligence and attentiveness you can’t train. That’s someone who wants to get it right.
I don't have to stop at this McDonald’s. I choose to—because the people here brighten my day. They treat me like more than just a transaction, and I want to be sure someone at McDonald's Corporate knows: these employees care. And that care is felt and valued.
Please take care of them the way they take care of your customers. They’re the reason your brand...

I asked for extra Carmel on my frappe's and then I watched the girl make them an she put a little extra in the drink, loaded a ton of whip cream on top to cover up the fact that they don't fill the cups and then put a little drizzle on top. I asked if she could put some extra on them and she started getting an attitude and said "I put extra in it already" so I said ok, but could you put a little more on top please, so she took the lid off and anrgerly put more on them and made a big mess when putting the same lids back barely wiped them off so when she handed them to me there was Carmel and whip cream all over the cup. I'm just so sick of all the BS with McDonald's period! They keep making things smaller and smaller but raising the price so your paying more money for less product. I honestly don't go there very often and when I do it's normally not for me. They don't really offer much o can eat and what I can I'm not paying the price for to get half the size product it used to be. All the commercials still show the bigger size product like the hamburger patty is double the size in the commercials than it really is and they obviously don't train their cooks to make the food correctly but rather to throw stuff together so sloppily and put a small dot of whichever dressings on the top bun only. I could go on for days about how bad McDonald's has gotten. I think they should all just be shut down. I just advise others to do like me and find somewhere else to eat and not support a restaurant that does not care at all about their customers or...
Read moreArrived at 9:30pm in the lobby, my friend went to the restroom and we walked up to the cashier and were immediately told to leave as the lobby was closed. I understand if it was closed but the tone with which it was said was extremely unprofessional and unprompted. The doors weren’t locked and the website doesn’t disclose a closing time for the lobby. The rest of the group left immediately while me and my friend waited for our friend in the restroom. After a minute the lady comes out from behind the registers and tells us we need to leave in the rudest tone. I explained we were waiting for a friend as she didn’t hear it was closed. Other employees were sweeping or on their phones sitting down in the lobby while playing loud music on a speaker. I understand people that work in the food industry aren’t often treated right, but to take out your anger on a group of kids your age that were completely unaware of the situation is just ridiculous. While we were waiting we heard a conversation between a man and the cashier. He was hungry and wanted food and she said he could only order food from the drive-thru. When he mentioned he didn’t have a car she just blew him off. I get maybe you don’t get paid enough to deal with the people you deal with everyday, but to just have common human decency... Is it that hard? It was obvious that she just wanted to get home, which I completely understand, but I just think this could have been handled...
