Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Olathe

This is the first (and last) time I've been to this location. I ordered the chicken bacon smokecheezy which wasn't made correctly. The bread was way over toasted and the sandwich was missing the sauce and red onions. They were out of raspberry tea and the condiment area wasn't very clean either. It was dead borh inside the restaurant and at the drive thru so there was no excuse for any of this. After eating my meal I decided to visit the restroom before leaving. It was disgusting and smelled of raw sewage. There was water all over the floor with no caution sign placed. Honestly, that restroom should have been closed. Youu could tell the toilet in small stall had spilled over and had been very poorly "cleaned up." As if that wasn't gross enough, the only sink in that bathroom was backed up and they were out of paper towels. I was honestly surprised they even had soap. While the employee's working there on 8/9/17 around 7pm are far from efficient, they were at...

Good eats good service. You know what you are getting here. If you haven't eaten at a Schkotzskys before they have soft bread warm deli sandwiches, some pizzas and this location has a cinnabon so they have some delicious sweets too. The bread is unique, their soft sourdough doesn't have a real sourdough tang, but it is really soft and good tasting. The original sandwich has meats, cheese, lettuce and black olives on it.

Also their "regular" size is huge! You could probably feed a family of four with their large sized sandwich. I have a friend who always orders the pizza. They look good to me and he likes them, but I can't get past the sandwiches to even try one.

Anyway, it's not high class: it is essentially fast food counter style service, but it's a good bite for me. Also they have a loyalty app that is pretty good and easy to use. Give it a try for lunch some day you...

Schlotszky's has long been a favorite sandwich stop of mine. I love the unique bread and the fillings, and the dressing. It's been a while since I've been to a Schlotszky's since there are no stores in my area of Ohio. The sandwich was just as I remembered it. The food came out fast, and the best thing about this store was the elderly gentleman who took our order and brought out our food. He even noticed we were splitting a sandwich, so he went back for another tray for us. This site carries Cinnabon products. I'm not sure if they all do now, but as soon as the door opened and I saw the familiar boxes, I knew we'd be adding a box to our order.
