Let me start by saying I hardly ever leave reviews and Wendys is my favorite place to get a quick bite to eat but I will NEVER go back to this location again. They took way too long to let me order and then it took almost 15 minutes just to get my food and I got a seriously rude attitude from the workers just for asking why it was taking so long. And I was told it was bc everything was being made fresh but then when I get my food the jr bacon cheeseburger was cold like someone put it in the refrigerator (?) The strips were old and one of the fries was soggy on the bottom for some reason...I have children that I was honestly afraid to feed this food bc I couldn't be sure that they didn't do something to it. Not to mention the three young girls I saw working all had really long hair that was unkempt and sticking out everywhere. I used to work at Burger King for seven months so I know A.- It does not take that long to get someone's food unless they're ordering for ten or more people (I was the only one in line when I came btw, one guy came behind me but left bc they were taking to long. ) B.- That their customer service was completely out of line. I wasn't rude in any way shape or form. I know what that job is like, it's tough, so I'm sympathetic everytime I order somewhere but these girls were the worst I've personally experienced. C.- That burger being cold and the strips being old is a health code violation and the fries being the way they were too is just disgusting (I also didn't get my bbq sauce for nuggets.) And finally their hair being the way it was is a violation too I have really long curly hair down to my waist so I know if it's that long it needs to be up brushed and kept nicely away from your face I left a comment on their website but if this isn't taken care of the district manager WILL hear from me.
EDIT I also want to mention that the strips were for my daughters kids meal so you would think they wouldn't serve children old food but apparently it didn't bother them. and my husband said he was sick to his stomach and in the bathroom all day...
Read moreI came in for lunch. There was some confusion with the gentleman in front of me over a digital coupon. After approximately ten minutes of them trying to figure things out, he was taken care of. After that, two cashiers that were trying to take care of him, walked away and left me standing there. One of the cashiers came back and just stared at me. I said, miss.I've been waiting patiently for the last ten minutes.While you took care of this other gentleman.Can you please take my order now. She replied i'm working the drive through. Apparently, the lady that was supposed to be at my casual sure was the manager. She overheard what I said and got very combative. I told her I did not want to argue I just wanted food. I wasn't able to get her name because she wasn't wearing a name tag, so I asked her. I made the comment tour.I wasn't expecting you to be so combative. She replied, you're the one that started it.It's all your fault, you're the one that started it. I turned around walked out the door. I tried to call the store to complain and asked for the general manager. She got on the phone and basically started arguing with me again.It appeared that she was the manager. I don't understand how somebody that will not wear a proper attire thus the name tag and is very argumentative and escalates, things instead of trying to stay calm, should be a manager. She looked old enough to know better. I called the corporate number and left a message.They still haven't called me back. I will be warning my friends that live in Olathe to avoid that store. Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would all because of an experience the night of 1-10-24..ordered in the app and asked for no mayo on burger to get home and see mayo on the burger and no Bacon!! I call and get no answer so I drive back up to the location and get rudely helped at the window..after receiving order didn’t think they could/would get the order wrong a second time with such a simple order. Lo and behold there is even more Mayo on the burger than the first time..I call and seems like the manager (Shawna) was waiting on my call as she contends the receipt said no mayo and she didn’t put mayo on it..I drive back up to the location again (2nd time) and when I pull up to the window Shawna is holding up the receipt like I need a reminder of what I ordered..she says she did not put mayo on the burger and whatever else she was saying..I calmly asked her to simply look at the burger to which she sees the damn Mayo caked on the burger again!! She then rudely asks me if I wanted the order redone or my money back to which I requested the money as have no confidence in her as a manager getting my order correct or the store at even caring to get the order correct or do anything above and beyond to resolve the issue..will not be eating at this location and probably Wendy’s again for that matter because of this issue...
