I was dashing here, mind you, I don't know why on earth doordash thinks I want to go all the way out here... I am from Cordova. But anyways, waiting forever as usual in the drive-thru, this time I decided to skip the speaker box as I have done a few times because when your a dasher you usually just expect your order to be ready or at least ready a bit quicker because of the timing constructs, so I try to skip as many cars as I can (usually just 1). Some real miscommunication I guess going on there bc I think they don't make it now until you tell them you are there, maybe some locations do this and some don't đ¤ˇââď¸. Wish these restaurants would find some way to fix these communication barriers with their delivery drivers, but I digress. Either way I tried to tell the lady at the payment window I had a doordash order and usually they confirm the order 9/10 x's, but she was distracted and busy so I tried to not think much of it bc I figured it should be ready. This could very well have been my mistake as well for expecting real service when obviously times like these that is very few and far between. I definitely wont do this with them again, I know that. I just hate expecting the least and the worst out of services, it's really not a fun way to live but we are definitely forced to nowadays.
Then when I get to the food window she says it's not on her screen so they don't have it. I believe this is bullcrap, I bet they just hadn't decided to push the order through the main tablet (the to-go tablets) as my app mentioned to me after I had already gotten out of the slow and long line. She wasnt worried about double checking, she was worried worried about no deliveries. I could have gone through again, but there's no way they are worth that kind of time.
To back up my review there are also a couple other reviews of similar instances happening recently. Oh and I almost forgot, I overheard a dasher in front of me at the speaker box having the same issue! So to say I may have been part of the issue no longer seems to even be the case! These kinds of things dont even really happen all that often. I have delivered for around 5 years and over 1000 deliveries with Uber and Doordash within the last half year. I think maybe one other time, but I could tell they actually went and checked to be sure.
Pretty sure it was the Manager that was running the food window and felt like all she cared about was not deliveries. I technically work for them you know and I don't think they really realize this half the time and that's my main job they're messing with which is not cool at all seeing as I'm sure my business expenses are more than theirs with having to use my own car to drive all over town and they are about 50 mins oot so this really is like a gut punch and jeopardizing my already really shitty livelihood. Not to mention these companies really seem to only pay minimum wage of 7.25 plus a few tips, it's really not even fair because this job has quite a...

I placed a mobile order before walking into this McDonaldâs, and the chaos I walked into was unbelievable. When I arrived, a customer was already complaining about her food, and the employees behind the counter were screaming and cursing at each other like they were in high school.
The girl bagging orders was handling fries with no gloves, dropped items, and had zero sense of urgency. After waiting around 15 minutes for my order, I asked for my fries to be made fresh with the rest of my food â instead of doing that, she re-dipped old fries in the oil and handed me two dirty cups she had just dropped on the floor. Thankfully, another employee stepped in and replaced them.
To make things worse, there was no tea available in the lobby, and when I went back up to the counter to ask, several employees were on the verge of fighting. The young lady at the front counter hesitated to help because she wanted to watch the argument until I reminded her that she still had a job to do â only then did she reluctantly make my drinks.
When I finally got to the car, I realized they had given me the wrong order â a double cheeseburger plain instead of the triple cheeseburger I paid for. When I called back, a young woman answered and claimed to be the manager. As soon as I began explaining the situation, she hung up on me and refused to answer the phone when I called back.
This entire experience was beyond unprofessional and completely unacceptable for a McDonaldâs. If management or corporate is reading this, I strongly urge you to review your staff, retrain them on basic hygiene, customer service, and professionalism, and make sure someone competent is actually in charge of this location. Customers shouldnât have to pay their hard-earned money to be...
