At approximately 6 p.m. Sunday June 4th, I visited the Lacey location and placed an order to go for two lasagnas one wedge salad and one Caesar salad. I also had a beer while I was waiting for the order and sat on the patio outside which is a lovely little area of two tables and 8 chairs. After I received my order and I got to the location, opened the bag I was very disappointed to see that the salad I paid an additional $3 for was barely a cup if not less of lettuce. Not only that but the Caesar salad had several pieces of old lettuce I would say probably 5 or 6 pieces, I had probably half of a tablespoon of Parmesan cheese on the salad along with croutons and dressing. My friend said the wedge salad was good as it was $8 I'm glad she thought so. My friend also noted that there were no dinner rolls included with the order to go as when you dine in the restaurant you typically receive bread with your meal. The lasagna was average, and the price was $12.50 , one piece was much larger than the other, but the flavor was good. The waiter suggested the seasonal beer and it was excellent. I would like to come back and try the happy hour menu but I doubt that I will spend this much on take out dinner again. One other piece of information to note is there is a $0.75 additional fee for...
Read moreAny review you see here above 1 star is lying. The best tasting thing there was the water. It says it's an award winning pizza.. but I can't imagine what sort of award it would win, other than the Blandest, Soggiest Pizza award. I ordered the "Classic Casa Mia Pizza" which is a mushroom & salami pizza. I came out piping hot and yet so thin and soggy in the middle that you couldn't pick up a slice, even if you waited for it to cool down. $30 for THAT? I could get a better pizza from Walmart. I should have known that the food was subpar when the "garlic" bread came out with just a little toasting, barely any butter and no garlic. And was served with the weakest marinara dipping sauce as well as something called "Buttercream" which the waitress explained was an alfredo, but it just tasted like nothingness. My friend got the chicken parm. There was chicken at least. The breading was so unflavorful that I wondered if it had any. Served in that same weak marinara and accompanied separately with a small place of fettucini in the nothingness alfredo sauce. Did they run out of spices or something? The only flavor in the whole meal was what I put on it from the tabletop spice set. As I was leaving I notice the carpet that said "Award-winning pizza". Honestly and sincerely...
Read moreMeh, not that good. Almost everything was way under salted, especially the sauces. The free bread was warm, but under cooked and doughy. We ordered garlic bread and it didn’t taste that garlicky; in fact, it kind of tasted like movie theater popcorn, with that fake butter flavacol taste. My wife’s pasta was cooked fine, and her chicken was well seasoned, but over cooked and the sauce was under salted again. My pizza Mia was fine, but seemed like just a generic meat lovers pizza from a pizza place. The crust was a tad undercooked, again the sauce was under salted. All the meat was fine, pepperoni was above average and had nice spice to it. Service was fine, but our waitress seemed like she was just going through the motions, and I honestly don’t blame her. I noticed a lot of awards on the walls, but then looked closer and saw most of them were over a decade old. If you’re still bragging about how good the pizza was in 2006, that’s a sign it has stagnated. Overall, a sub par experience that could easily be upped to above average with some salt, attention to detail, and a...
