During a recent stay at the Hotel Indigo in Omaha, I had the pleasure of visiting a hidden speakeasy and it was an unforgettable experience. Anna’s place is veteran-owned and operated which we LOVE. Nestled discreetly within the hotel, this gem offered a unique and calming vibe that was both inviting and sophisticated. The dim lighting and tasteful decor transport you back in time creating an inviting space perfect for intimate conversation or unwinding after a long day. The speakeasy honors the famous madame Anna Wilson, the decor and pictures are a hat tip to her memory. I finished an evening out with friends with a stop here. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next night for a drink before our flight. The highlight of our visit was the bartender, Penelope (Penny), who was not only incredibly skilled but also friendly and attentive. Her passion for mixology was evident in every drink she crafted, and each cocktail was a delightful blend of flavors that left us wanting more. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Penelope made sure we felt welcomed and well taken care of, adding a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. Whether you're a guest at the hotel or just passing through, this speakeasy is worth a visit. It's the perfect spot to unwind with friends or enjoy a quiet drink on your own.

Queer and sensory friendly bar with immaculate vibes! Drinks - Worth $15 for sure, really well put together. I loved the Witches Last Brew, it was sweet and warm. Staff - Friendly, kind, down to earth, matched the vibe, incredibly attentive without being annoying, great at suggesting drinks. You could get one drink and sit all night, not feel pressured to get more, but always feel welcome to. Atmosphere - So so good. Calm, queer, relaxed, witchy, comfy seating, and quiet but still lively. They monitor the capacity to keep the vibe right. Makes me want to come back to Omaha, thanks for the warm welcome Anna's Place!

An excellent addition to the bar scene downtown - I've been a few times and they do a great job. It is very small and intimate, so it can be difficult to get in on weekends, but Anna's Place is definitely a speakeasy worth going to. The decor and theming is amazing - you can learn some really cool Omaha history just reading the drink menu. And the drinks are creative and interesting and GOOD. The staff is also consistently lovely, they're just the right amount of attentive and engaging. The establishment as a whole is improving all the time, too, so it's always a good time to come in and see what's happening!

I was visiting from out of state and decided to drop in to Anna's place just to check it out and have a drink. I'm glad I did. Very cool experience, there's nothing like it back where I'm from (treasure valley, Idaho). Definitely makes the whole speakeasy feel come to life.

Located inside of the indigo hotel, you enter the lobby and at first I wasn't sure I was in the right place but the indigo hotel s to staff were more than friendly and helpful to point me down a short corridor with a green light at the end next to a closed door.

You have to knock in which a gentleman exit's to check your ID and gives you a brief explanation of house rules upon entering.

As you enter the room its quaint but comfortable and is dimly lit red lights. I sat at the bar top and the gentleman who answered the door happily provided me with a run down of their signature cocktails provided and offered different suggestions.

I had two drinks the high tea and the devil's staircase. Both drinks were absolutely delicious. Sierra the bartender was on point she served those drinks up to perfection.

I'm in town for a few more weeks and I'll definitely be back before I leave. I highly recommend visiting Anna's place, I plan on telling some buddies I'm in town with to check it...
