I didn't mind the fairly regular screw-ups from this place, because the manager was always willing to fix them, however, I'll no longer be ordering from Domino's after the experience I just had.
I ordered online, and also redeemed a free pizza with my points. I then called the store to have them add on a replacement pizza I had coming to me because my last order was screwed up (wrong sauce used). The kid that answered said it would remove the coupon and the price of a sandwich would go up by a dollar. I told him that wouldn't make any sense to penalize me just to add on a replacement pizza. He said, "Yeah, but it's only going to be like a dollar." I said it was the point of the thing. He paused and said, "Really? You're worried about only a whole dollar?" I asked for a manger. He put the phone down and 20 seconds later came on and gave me a new, much smaller total. I asked how he could have a new total when I didn't even tell him what I wanted for my replacement pizza - something that shouldn't have affected the total at all. He actually said to me, "I don't know... it sounds like you're trying to scam me."
I asked him for his manager. He said to hold on. I said "ok." He asked, "Did you just call me an idiot?" "No... I said ok. Get your manager, please." "No, I think you just called me an idiot," then he slammed the phone down. I called back to cancel the order. I've never had such poor service from a pizza joint. Or any other type of business that I can recall. I'll spend the couple of extra bucks and start ordering from other nearby places from now on. I had called because when my wife came home with our dinner,the pizza was very cold and dry. And the wife was upset because the way she was treated and talked to by female employee, The young lady was very polite,apologetic,and professional. Going to lengths to make sure her customer was satisfied.going as far as having that rude employee apologize to my wife and myself,then instead of giving phone back to the young lady,she hung up without resolving the cold pizza issue,when I called back the rude girl answered,asking to speak with the manager I was now speaking with a yosef,who said he was the manager, having to explain the whole thing over,to this rude smart mouth little punk,I was told there was no way it could be cold,when we ordered they said 10-20 minutes she was there in 15min,and our order had been sitting 4min already. With getting along in years,I don't ever want to go to the county jail again . but after this experience,and that kids smart ads mouth,I was bout to rock that orange jump suit. I called after 1 hour when my pizza had not arrived and was assured that it was on its way and that the website underestimates wait times. No problem! I wait another 20 minutes, still no pizza. I call back and am told the same line, pizza on its way website bad at estimating times. I remind them that I had called earlier and been told the same thing, no new response, state it should be there soon. Another 20 minutes pass, now 1 hour and 40 minutes after my order was placed, and they finally take the time to look it up (while I'm on hold I hear them discussing this) turns out their system states it was delivered an hour ago! I'd been watching outside because I'M HUNGRY, no one attempted to deliver anything. I overhear them state that the pizza will be free and that they will give me a coupon, but the person who informs me just states they will remake the pizza. I ask if I will still pay, and she says no, but makes no mention about a coupon or gift card. I shouldn't have to call three times to get any sort of actual investigation into the situation.
