profoundly disappointed with my recent experience as a first-time customer at The Grove. I placed a significant financial investment into a 3-day cleanse, which I expected to be handled with the utmost care and professionalism, but what I received was far from acceptable. The entire experience has been stressful and disheartening. As a busy mother and professional, clearing my schedule for 3 days to commit to this cleanse required significant effort. A cleanse like this impacts the mind, body, and spirit, and it was crucial for me to have everything in place to focus on my health. However, multiple issues with my order, lack of communication, and poor customer service have completely undermined this effort. An unexplained extra charge of $176.00 on my credit card, which I still have not received an explanation for. No Contact About Order: Despite selecting Friday as my pickup day and receiving confirmation that I would be notified when my order was ready, no one contacted me. I had to call to confirm, only to find that my order wasn’t prepared correctly. • Incomplete Order: Upon arrival, I was informed that two of the mylks needed for my cleanse were unavailable. These mylks are crucial to the cleanse and were already paid for. The alternative options offered were unacceptable given the importance of these specific products • Expired Products: Some of the juices I received were marked to expire within two days, despite being told they would last eight days. This further impacted my ability to properly follow the cleanse schedule.• Product Substitutions Without Notice: Some of my juices were substituted with other products without any prior notification. I was not given a chance to approve these changes or be informed ahead of time, which is unacceptable given the price point and the nature of the cleanse• No Manager Available: On multiple occasions, I was told the manager was unavailable. Even after asking for the owner's contact information and being assured I would receive it, I never did. There has been no follow-up, and I feel entirely dismissed by your team. While they offered substitutions, I wasn’t in a position to research or evaluate these alternatives on the spot, especially as a first-time buyer. • negatively impacted. This was my first time purchasing from The Grove, and I expected top-tier service, especially for the price paid. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of communication, support, and care shown throughout this process is unacceptable. I feel as though I am not a valued customer, and that your team did not care enough to address these issues with the urgency they deserved. Conclusion: I demand a proper resolution to these issues. Whether this is through a full refund, compensation, or some other corrective action, I expect immediate attention to this matter. This experience has not only been a waste of money but also a significant disruption to my well-being.I await your prompt response and action. Edit : I was emailed a short and abrupt message saying, " Sorry we sold out of a few items in your cleanse, you can come pick up your mylks". This is unacceptable after my e tire experience and not recieved the correct products or the charge being explained or even having the decency to call me and this being addressed. I 100 percent do not recommend this place as clearly the owner does not take customer...
Read moreI was super excited that a place with "fresh juice" opened. Well, fresh is one of those marketing words that has a lot of definitions. I don't care which juicer is used, it degrades. Some juicers boast about a 72 hr nutrient preservation method, but it is still degrading in that time. Beneficial effects of juices dissipate minutes after it's made. Many of these nutrients are very sensitive to air, heat, light and time and will cause their degeneration. Especially if not handled and stored properly. It is best to drink juice within 20 minutes to get the maximum benefits. Research.
What was really disappointing to me was that I was there 4/4. The bottle of juice that I purchased had an expiration sticker on it for 4/9. So even if The Grove has a juicer that claims it will preserve the juice's nutrients for 72hrs, 5 days exceeds that window. If people are buying the juice for health benefits, SORRY, you may not receive much or any and it seems The Grove doesn't care as it should know better. The flavor changes as well over time, so you are getting a lifeless and sad excuse for a "fresh juice" - no thanks. I am a daily juicer and know all of this info from my years of experience and research. A quick Google search will back me up.
I did enjoy the Matcha latte! It is a cute place that feels good to be in with lots of light and lovely plants. I can't speak for the rest of their menu - it looked like there were some good and truly healthy options, but I know I won't be paying $10 for degraded juice again. If anyone is looking for a juicer, I love my Kuvings c7000s - make your own and thrive from it!!! It'll pay for itself...
Read moreI have gone to The Grove a handful of times. Their smoothies are delicious but very pricey. If you would like an alternative milk, it’s an extra dollar on top of the $10.50 smoothie price. You can tell that the only freshest ingredients are used and it’s the type of food that you feel good about eating after you’re done. The locale itself is stunning and there is ample seating for anyone to pick! However, I do find their service a little lacking at times. Sometimes I’ve gone and the service has been great. Other times, the service has been subpar. Last time was one of those times. I don’t fault for them that, mistakes happen and that’s to be excepted in any business. If I were to tell the owners anything is that I wish the employees would be more welcoming when greeting. There have been times where I haven’t even been acknowledged. However, I feel that despite that they’re offering something that Omaha doesn’t really have, a wellness store and restaurant that actually tastes good! It’s very rare and a delicate business to perfect healthy yet tasty. The Grove for the most part...
