My wife was visiting her dad in the hospital and I was trying to find a place to hang out while she visited. When I arrived, Site-1 was closed for a private event, which turned out to be a drag show.
I asked if I could just have a seat at the bar and I was warned there was a drag show going on. I have no issues with drag shows and I think they are a lot of fun. I was pointed to the very last seat in the house by a very friendly hostess.
I tried a few beers and their breakfast sandwich. One of their beers I didn’t care for, but they have others that I liked alot and I even bought two crowlers to come home. The breakfast sandwich was absolutely delicious! I will go back to Site-1 for their beer and food. I will also go back because their servers and hostess are just plain awesome. I would like to give a shout out to the hostess, but I’m a jerk and forgot the lady’s name. If you know her name, you probably know she’s awesome, but also please provide below.
I also had a blast watching the drag show. There were a couple times I couldn’t hear what the MC was saying, but I thought the MC did a fantastic job and also performed really well! The ladies had amazing outfits and the show was absolutely fab-u-lous!!! You need to see a drag show soon. Anywhere you live. Especially in TN.
I look forward to my next visit to Site-1 and possibly stumbling into a drag show!
I highly recommend Site-1 for their beer, food, decor, and their support...
Read moreI stopped by Site-1 Brewing thanks to PubPass, and wow—what an awesome surprise! This place totally exceeded my expectations. The vibe was spot-on: stylish but relaxed, with plenty of space and good energy. They’ve got it all—beer, food, and cocktails—so there’s something for everyone.
The bartender was super friendly, helpful, and let me try several beer samples, which made the whole experience even better. I ended up loving their Crushin’ Dingers—a smooth, slightly fruity blonde/golden ale that instantly became a favorite. Easy to drink but still full of flavor.
I also tried their barleywine that’s aged in a 10-year Templeton Rye barrel. Strong stuff with high ABV, but packed with complex flavor—definitely one for sipping and savoring.
Overall, this is an absolute gem of a brewery in Omaha. Great beer, awesome service, and a cool space to hang out. I’ll definitely be coming back every time...
Read moreGood beer, good for, great experience. Ice had been from Site-1 before at an event, but this was my first time visiting. It will not be my last!
We visited on a Sunday afternoon; as might be expected at that time, it was not very busy. That suited us perfectly, as we were looking for a relatively quiet and laid-back place to relax and enjoy a couple of beers. Both the food and beer selection is modest but well-rounded. The beers provide a nice mix of standard beers, malty beers, and happy beers. They even had a sour on tap I tend towards malty beers myself, and I found the Oktoberfest and Toboggan Run dunkel to be quite tasty. The Cuban sandwich was also very good.
I also appreciated that the tables were spaced far enough apart that it didn't feel overly crowded in there. That was nice touch for...
