My girlfriend, and I randomly pick a new spot to eat on the weekends. In the past, her decision making has been enormously questionable - to say the least. So after a long week I was very reluctant to let her choose again. However, you know that goes…. I mean, atleast she’s aware of what she wants to eat, but not the best decisions in locating …… SO!! We came to Everett’s and immediately upon waking into the door was greeted by our waiter and immediately seated. I made a quick trip to the restroom and upon return drinks had already been placed at the table. I noticed upon entering it was a very quaint, and cozy establishment. Great atmosphere, the music was exceptional, and in rotation.. Very clean!! Our waiter was very responsive with taking our order, informing us of additions to the menu, and suggested a few of the house favorites. I chose the portobello sandwich, house salad and my girlfriend pulled chicken sandwich and cheesy potatoes!! We ordered the fried Brussel sprouts as an appetizer! With, how quickly our food arrived you would’ve thought we called ahead. But it was fresh, it was hot and VERY VERY FLAVORFUL. I love Brussel sprouts and they did NOT disappoint! Honestly, the best Ive tasted. Not over cooked. Crisp, and drizzled with their house sauce that had a very good balance of taste. Served on a large tray. There was two of us, but could’ve fed 4 comfortably. The right amount of time passed between appetizer and meal. Was greeted with a very robust portobello mushroom sandwich. Great taste. A little sweet, and a little tangy. Their brioche buns are amazing! My house salad was very good. Crisp romaine lettuce, plenty of tomato sliced and cucumber! Great color was the perfect size for a salad. The waiter suggested the cheesy potatoes and they lived up to their reputation. Well cooked potatoes with a creamy cheese that had the perfect crust. So good!! Her sandwich had chicken in every bit. The bun didn’t overwhelm the sandwich at all. Again, flavor was really good!! Their price point, is on point for the quality and quantity of food you get. I ordered wings to go for my grandmas for her birthday, with fries - from what I hear, she wants me to bring her more this week! Nice size wings and plenty of sauce. If that answers your question. THE WIIIIIIINGS! To me, best in Omaha! Meaty and flavorful! Such a great place! Staff is friendly, and very appreciative of the business! DEFINITELY on our list of places to frequent!!! Thank you to the entire staff for providing a great experience !!

Top 10% Omaha Reviewer. Follow me on here or Instagram @markthisplacedown for more reviews. WHAT I ORDERED Pulled Pork Sandwich - Asian Slaw with Peanut Sauce on a toasted brioche bun and a side starter of Fried Brussel Sprouts Both of the dishes I ordered were absolutely fantastic! As a self-proclaimed ā€œBrussels Loverā€ I had to come try these out after seeing a bunch of pics posted online. They definitely didn’t disappoint. The texture was fantastic and the combined sauces and flavors were absolutely delicious! My sandwich was equally tasty as it had the perfect amount of flavor, volume, and tenderness in the meat. My meal came with a side of fries which I paired with their side of Garlic Aioli. MENU The menu is a little smaller here but it’s better to be masters at what you offer than a Jack of all trades, master of none and this is definitely their case. They currently have 3 pulled sandwiches to choose from (chicken or pork), a few burgers, veggie/salad options, wings (new sauce specials on Saturdays), and a few sides. For a full menu visit everettsmaple.com VISITING CONDITIONS I came here with my buddy around 7:00pm on a Saturday night. They don’t have bar seating, but are directly connected to the bar next door. They maybe have around 10 tables. I got my drink and food pretty quickly. ESTABLISHMENT Everett’s is a small-sized eatery with an open feel on the inside. They have wooden floors and other simple wooden features/plants around the business. There are a few TVs if you enjoy following sports while eating. STAFF When we went there there were only two people serving the food, but this wasn’t a problem since the establishment isn’t that big. They were really friendly and accommodating. PRICING The drinks are around $3-6 and I believe only canned or bottled options were available, but again they are connected to the bar next door. The appetizers are around $8-10. The sides are around $8. The main attractions are between $9-22.50. LOCATION 8807 Maple St Omaha, NE 68134 If you like brussels and some modern American food you can definitely MARK THIS PLACE DOWN as a must try!

Everett's on Maple is my favorite wing place ( Best in the City)! I’ve been going regularly for a while now, so this review is long overdue. I highly recommend you check them out if you haven’t already it’s sooooo good. I ALWAYS get my wings fried & grilled. MY FAV is Extra Hot & Jamaican Jerk mixed (Xtra Sweet Heat) …. It never disappoints. They have a sauce drop weekly so lately I’ve been trying a lot of new flavors. Some of my top recommendations are Apple BBQ, Shimmy Shimmy Ya, Sweet Ragin Cajun, and Cajun Cowboy. If you see any of those as the specials for the week get themmmmmm! They have 10 wings for $10 on Wednesdays as well which is a really sweet deal! I’m a wing girly, but their sides are also great. Their fries are hand cut and the brussel sprouts are top tier, it’s that sauce on them. They also sell local cider beer, and I love cider beer. They often have good seasonal flavors. Above everything I enjoy the homey feel they provide here. They’re very customer service oriented, extremely personable, and pay attention to detail which I really enjoy. Small things about my order are remembered and I don’t even have to request them anymore they just know. Tyler always makes sure to say Hi even when I know he’s busy. Laura is the sweetest, and Ellen is so funny. Which are all a huge part of the reason I’m a regular aside from the fact they have amazing food!

Went here 3 times over the last month. The food absolutely slaps, fries come with housemade ketchup and the brussel sprouts are stupid good. Only place in Omaha I’ve found for proper grilled wings! The wednesday deal of 10 wings for $10 is unreal. The cajun rub is also killer.

This review is a 3 because this place deserves to become a 5 but I have two bones to pick.

First, there are clear growing pains the place is going through, eg. a self service waitlist that’s on the wall behind you when you walk in (with no signage), an online order system whose availability is a magic 8 ball, I forget what else. I can tell that the focus is on the back of house and the food shines as a result; please think through your customer experiences with the kind of love the second favorite child should be getting.

Second, each time we’ve come, we’ve had issues with the service. We lucked into the same waitress twice when we went in person and the service was just bad. The first time, the waitress was rude and impatient, and was only nice when I came up to the front to pay the bill after she never came back for my card. The second time, another girl tried to kind of keep an eye on us and fill waters but didn’t want to overstep and become our waiter. We waited so long we gave up on asking for booze. The third time, we wanted to do carryout, so my lady goes in to order. She starts specifying that we wanted ranch with the wings and the waitress cuts her off to say ā€˜Don’t worry, we’re on top of the saucesā€. However, the fries had no dipping sauces when we opened the bag at home.

I beg you, sort yourselves out. I’m waiting for the day where I can love this place and...
