King Kong Dodge — Restaurant in Omaha

Friendly, sometimes a lil hard to understand but patient and friendly regardless, they make the effort to understand even through any confusion of what you're ordering...If they don't understand they'll tell you to pull around to the window when going through the drive thru ordering and then they catch on pretty quickly where you can tell them direct and personal face to face what you're wanting... they serve pretty quickly too... never had to wait long for my food...ever!... The food is good and I even have a craving for it at times... and they give you larger than most King Kong size proportions... which all keeps me coming back for more as a customer... The inside dining is always kept clean and nice looking... and you get quick and friendly service dining in as well... Both driving thru and dining in has always been a pleasant experience... Oh and one other great thing about King Kong...every year on Christmas day...they give back to their customers by working that day and serving a choice of 2 meals at half off the original price... one being the King Kong burger and fries and the other the gyro with fries... can't say I know of any other restaurants who give back any appreciation or contribution of a gift to their customers on Christmas year after year the way King Kong has... when they first started for a few years the meals were for free...completely... over the years as the word spread they got busier and busier on that day... in which they had to make them half off...which is also very understandable... and even on that day when there's a line you have to wait in to order... they still serve quickly and youre still not disappointed at all one bit... wonderful people and a great establishment!... I love eating at...

Where do I start? So my husband and I stopped late because they were open. Full disclosure... this has never been in top 5 for gyros for me but hungry is hungry. We ordered 2 gyro sandwiches. And one chocolate malt. That is all. First the guy couldn't hear at the drive through so asked me to pull around to order. No problem. Ordered. 8 min later he comes back to the window and said "your SHAKES are coming" I interrupted and said "malt. Just one" now, we had paid our $51 because apparently here and only here gyro meat is blended with unicorn or something because each sandwich is $20. Well food finally comes out. We have 2 shakes. Not malt. Shakes. And I'm lactose intolerant so I look at receipt which I just got and I paid for them. Swell. I was too tired to argue. I went home. Now I'm a simple girl when it comes to my gyros. Pita. Meat. Sauce. That's it. This meat was AWFUL. I couldn't eat it. Ended up throwing the whole thing away. Never. Ever. ...

Ordered a gyro plate add bacon, was told my total was $22 and some change I gave my debit card, I get my receipt and see it's charged for over $23...I ask I thought you said the total was $22 and some change she said yeah, points at a sign above the window and says we charge 3.75% on credit cards I said that's not a credit card it's a debit card she said all cards I said that's not what the sign says.... so I will be following up w my bank, yes it's literally a dollar plus, however thats not the point. They charge their customers extra tax for using cards not" All Credit Cards "but All Cards in general. It's 2023, 98% of all purchases are paid w card! You raise your prices w/o fail and then don't tell debit card users you will be charging them more! How much capital is made from this alone!! This is shady business and will not not visit this establishment again- I am notifying everyone I know about your business doing this...
