If I could give them a zero I would. My order was wrong and left on the porch with no call to let me know the order arrived. I understand social distancing but usually you get a call or text to let you know your order arrived. My son went to take out the garbage and found our $42 order sitting on the porch. I didn't get a call or text. The food was freezing cold. I immediately called the store on 45th & Dodge to let them know. No one answered the phone the first few times. After a hour the manager named Tanya answered. This is my first time using the popeyes app. I called the store to let the store manager Tanya know that I ordered small Dr. Pepper not large sweet tea. Also I was supposed to get French fries with the family meal not mashed potatoes. I also expressed my disappointment about the food being cold due to being left on the porch. I hadn't ate the food and wanted a refund. The manager did not take my feedback well. She was not good at listening to customer complaints. I did not use any profanity or yell at her. She said the store was out of fries until tomorrow and the delivery service should have contacted me to let me know. She assumed I'd ordered thru door dash. I told her I ordered thru the popeyes app. She said that if I would have read the fine print I would know that post mates or door dash does the delivery. I said that's a bad look for popeyes as a company. This is when she got upset. She said there is nothing she can do about who delivers and that it was not Popeyes fault. I said that's why its a bad look for popeyes because the 3rd party company is making them look bad. She said it's not popeyes fault AND it's outta popeyes control. I said well the delivery company doesn't deliver for free so it is in popeyes control to make sure the delivery company that they hired are doing customers right. She got upset and hung up on me. She offered no apology. She showed no empathy or concern. She had very poor customer service. She did not appreciate me as a new customer. She never once said she apologize or never thanked me for purchasing. After all this I want a full refund . This is a terrible first experience. I will not be using the popeyes app or patronizing popeyes on Dodge ever again. I called back to get the managers name but no one answered. I guess they have called ID. I eventually found out the managers name after several trieswhen another employee told me she's known as the Evil...
Read moreUPDATE: I decided to give them another try, see if they had improved. Unfortunately, they seem determined to continue with their incompetency. The order I just picked up, which I placed online, was missing: one of the biscuits, one of the side dishes, and all of the dipping sauces. Seriously, we're not just talking one little mistake here, almost everything I ordered was screwed up in some way. And, this was after an incredibly slow and long wait in the drive-thru. Do not go here unless you're willing to double check, and triple check your order; there's zero for three for getting it right for me.
I've generally had rather mixed experiences with this location over the past year or two, with the general theme being good food and poor service.
Last night was just a bad experience across the board. I ordered online and came to pick it up via the drive-through. They initially tried to give me someone else's order and argued with me when I said that the name and order weren't mine.
I was asked to come inside to sort it out and was then ignored for almost five minutes. Lots of people standing around (almost none wearing masks) and glancing at me, but no one seemed to care about talking to me.
It was another almost five minutes of giving my name and order before they "found" my order, reprinted it on the computer, mumbled an apology, and said they get it made up as quickly as possible. About ten minutes later they gave me my food.
I took it home to discover that the order was completely messed up. One ordered item was completely missing, the chicken tenders that were ordered as spicy were regular (part of the wait was because they didn't have enough spicy tenders ready), and they'd left out all of the sauces.
The food itself, if and when you actually get it, and if you can get the right food, is usually quite good. However, the poor service at this location makes it not...
Read moreI have been to this location twice. Each time I have had the pleasure to witness one particular employee, who is apparently a manager, and probably the last person you want near your food or managing a restaurant of any kind.
My 1st experience was back in January and I went to try the chicken sandwich everyone was raving about. As i pulled up to the pick up window, i see a white guy wearing a kangol hat, not wearing gloves, and digging in his ear with his fingers. He was also the one touching everything, making the sandwich, and did not watch his hands. Shocked I paid, left and tossed it out. I wrote corporate and got no response.
I havent been since, until today. With no other fast food place having tenders and me craving them, I decided to try again. I pull up to the window and there he is. Wearing his kangol hat, a surgical mask, and no gloves. He is at the drive thru, so hopefully had nothing to do with my food. He grabs my cup, scoops up ice with it barehanded, and hits the lemonade button. Before i go onto the next part you should know, if youve never worked in a restaurant, that to create an actual barrier between a possibly dirty cup and your dirty hands, youre supposed to use an ice scoop which, until entering the ice, remains in a hopefully clean holder on the side.
He then put his hand to his mouth, which covered by a cheap mask, and coughs. That was it. I just drove of. Maybe you wouldn't be bothered by it because of the mask but it was the instinct to cough into his hand that worries me because know thats what he does when hes not wearing the mask. With his total lack for any food safety, it worries me thats hes a manager and possibly a franchise owner which means he wont get fired.
DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION AND IF YOU SEE THE DISGUSTING GUY WITH THE...
