5/6/2023 Another Monday, more double points. Had the tuna sub today. It's one of my favorites. They were very busy today. 3/6/2023 They always treat us right. Mondays are double points day. 12/27/2022 Tonight was the tuna sub. 😋 10/22/2022 Stopped by tonight for a meatball 🥪 submarine sandwich. It was, ohhh, so tasty. Kim had our sandwiches ready by the time we paid for them. We also bought my wife's brother with us. We'll need to go back to Firehouse 🔥 before he returns home. 4/18/2022 Today, it was a delicious tuna sandwich. I've taken to the tuna sandwich, but I still get the meatball sandwich 🥪 😋 to switch things up. The crew is ways good to us, and we appreciate them. February 15, 2022 Still love this place. We go there a couple of times a week. Their rewards program is very good. Monday is double points day, and this Monday was triple points day for Valentines Day. January 2020 This shop has been particularly good to us ever since we started going there. They always come around while we are eating to make sure everything is OK. Today, one of my meatballs meet an untimely death and ditched to the floor. When the staff member came around, I mentioned in passing that one of my meatballs had flown the coop. They gave me another two meatballs. Now I call that going above and beyond, and I didn't expect them to respond the way they did. Thanks, guys. PLUS one STAR. It is unusual for me to give a fast food place anything better than 4 stars, I mean, come on, it is a fast food place, but these guys Rock Big Time. Thanks again. July 2019 Really good food. I had the meatball sub, and it was delicious. They also give vets a free drink. The place is clean, the service was efficient and the people were friendly. I'm thinking I'll be back. For me it is conveniently located and there is plenty of parking. Five stars...

Walking in at 7:45 pm there was a young lady sweeping I believe her name was Mari or Mahri and she told us it was card only and they close at 9pm “just so you know” which is fine she just could’ve said it a bit nicer. We came in to order for my family of 8. The older lady that took our order was very rude and short with us we debated on just leaving and was the sole reason we did not order all the subs as meals and went to Casey’s to buy soda and chips. As we were waiting for our order to be made 3 other groups of people came in and they were told “We are only taking card. It will be over a 20 minute wait. We close at 9” they proceeded to leave. They had called the lady that was sweeping back to help them make orders but after a couple minutes she came back out and continued sweeping. I assume since it was close to closing time and there seemed to be some sort of issues going on between the staff as we heard them arguing with each other. From what we understood Mahri seemed to want to make our food correctly and the older lady just wanted to “be quick and throw it in the microwave” We could hear Mahri say that’s not how we do things. As we were leaving Mahri was very kind and apologizing for the wait and them being busy. I’m not sure how long it would normally take to make 7 sandwiches but we spent about 40 minutes...

This is not the place to go for a good sandwich, you don't get what you pay for. For $9 I got the sandwich pictured below, beside a screen shot of the same sandwich from their website. I realize that marketing pictures are always made to look perfect and what you get never actually looks the same, but these don't even remotely compare. There are so many good sandwich shops around to go to, no need to go here. I suggest Pickleman's, it's my go to place and will continue to be, I just thought I'd try something else for once and maybe add another place to my list of regular favorites, but this isn't it. At Pickleman's you still pay $9 for a sandwich, but it's really a piled high, hearty sandwich that will fill you up, so you get good value for your money.

I contacted the restaurant to let them know of my dissatisfaction, and included the picture of my sandwich. The general manager called and left a message. As soon as I received the message, I called back just a few minutes later and was told that she wasn't in the store and they would have her call me when she got in later. That was a few days ago, I never got that call back. They don't take their sandwiches or their customer service...
