Well first question that occurred to my mind was like ok, so what's the story on this Michael entity? Initially a new customer/shopper if they could, they would most likely assume that there is one Michael and the s on the end(Michaels) would mean it's a possessive thing. Meaning Michael owns the place. It's Michaels store. BUT I can almost guarantee I'm not the only one to stop in my tracks, standing there in the Michaels parking lot, staring up at Michaels magnificent looking sign of big bright bold letters, beaming red light that you can see reflecting from car windows and gives the concrete a dreamy new tone. And um the.. wait uhhh where was OH YA! The name thing. So there I was, committed to thinking this mystery through before I take the last 13, maybe 14, but probably 13, unless you take big steps then 15, steps to the entrance. See, there's an important detail that leads me to believe or at least question the legitimateness of store ownership. ' yep an apostrophe. Clearly Michael isn't dumb enough to mess up his own business name and forgot the apostrophe! Let's be real he has his own business, he's obviously intelligent enough to know simple proper English. So anyone in their right mind won't get left behind thinking the missing apostrophe, is probably not missing at all! So that leads us to the breakthrough revelation that the apostrophe-less name is correct and intentional. So by these parameters, we are now left with an entirely different perspective of the origin/meaning of this Michaels place. Although our original theory to most, would surely appear as the most sane, more logical, reasonable, understandable, and most importantly, more profitable, option, our train of thought has led us to this point of unrealistic reason. The point where we must come to terms with and accept that we may have been in fact, wildly mistaken about this being a store that Michael owns... Here it is y'all- THE S WITHOUT AN APOSTROPHE INSISTS THAT IT IS NOT A POSSESSIVE NOUN, IT IS PLURAL... Yes let that sink in... And yes I know, this brings a whole lot more questions than it answers. So there are multiple Michaels here. It's not the owner, it's the product! 𤯠They sell multiple Michaels? I'm assuming different variations like different sizes, colors, and temperaments of Michaels. Well selling humans is as far as I know still illegal, so assuming this ain't no covert ops business going on, I'm left to believe, yep you guessed it, robots. My face hurts.. my skin is red and itchy AHH dang don't scratch it!! What is this... This . SUNBURN! I've been in this parking lot so long I've nearly burnt up! Well I hope this confusion was worth it! But I can say this, I think I'm confident enough that the correct answer to our question is indeed this is a robot store, and for some odd reason they are all named Michael. This transaction was almost entirely eligible for 25% rewards. Like I always do, I held my phone for the cashier to scan my rewards and coupons which she appeared to do. When completing my transaction she again asked for my rewards. We had a brief exchange about whether it scanned or not. I handed her the phone again. She seemed to scan it and then asked if a email receipt was okay. āSure. No problem.ā My mother was with me making her own purchase right after mine. While lingering near the door waiting on my mom to finish, I checked my email for the receipt. No receipt. I immediately returned to the cashier and asked for a printed copy. She informed me she had no way to print one. I asked to speak with a manager, also a young girl who informed me they had no way to provide one. At my insistence to escalate the matter, she called the store manager, Clef, who was already at home for the evening. He assured me that he would resolve the matter when he returned to work in the daytime. We exchanged contact information. He did follow up on a couple of occasions to let me know he was still working on it but had no immediate resolution. On our last phone call he had found the receipt but my rewards had been scanned to SOMEONE ELSEāS REWARDS ACCOUNT!! He wouldnāt tell me whose but itās reasonable to assume the cashier entered her own rewards or that of a family member or friend. Itās been over a week again since my last contact. My calls are not being returned. $50 is no small amount of money to lose to a store employees mistake or theft, whichever it is. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe gala checked me out I told her I had a coupon at the beginning or I wanted to use the 20% off discount when I first approached the counter she ringing the entire order and forgot to do that she forgot to enter the 20% discount. So we had to refund my entire order scanning everything, and then re-ring it to include the 20% off discount. That was done in the meantime everything had to be rescanned twice during this process some of the things that I bought were damaged the feathers to peacock feather Etc because of the counter girl was in a hurry or something everybody was pleasant they need to be trained on how to handle items more gradually and how to prepare them for the bags for the customer when they leave so things don't get banned or broken. The checkout time lasted quite a while I ended up missing my cab I told her at the beginning I had about 8 minutes or 10 minutes to wait before my cab was going to arrive to the location I was at. My cab arrived and could not wait because he had a time frame and so he had to leave which then I had to call another cab and that took another 15-20 minutes overall not real happy I'm discouraged to satisfying I thought Michael was a lot better than that it was the last time I went and that was 3 years ago at the location of the I believe it was close to 132nd and Center I believe. It'll be a while before I come back or just thinking about coming back all I can do now is tell the people my experience and that seems to help me...
