Drinks meet the bare minimum, and service is awful. I will visit on my breaks and it is the biggest waste of my time and money.
Everyone works like it is their first day on the job. They have plenty of staff and long wait times because they have zero sense of urgency. I usually see 3-4 baristas whenever I go and a very small amount of customers. No one seems qualified to actually work in a cafe. They’ve forgotten my order on multiple occasions and I usually spend half of my break waiting for a drink.
Today I waited 18 minutes. 2 people ordered after me and got their items before me. When they realized I was still waiting they whispered to each other while looking back at me and did not acknowledge the mistake to me. I went up and asked about my drink, and they had completely forgotten what I ordered. I had to remind them what it was and they didn’t know how to make it. A seasonal item but you would think they are prepared for that. They still took their time and seemed side tracked while making my forgotten order.
The service is awful and never personal. I have been a barista in the past and I have never worked with, or seen any cafe for that matter, that has such robotic staff when it comes to customer interaction. Seems they enjoy working with their friends but they hate assisting customers. These are the most undertrained and oblivious baristas I have ever seen.
Whoever manages this starbucks should be embarrassed by the lack of organization, training, and overall professionalism. The drinks just barely pass. Never taste as good as other starbucks I have visited.
Overall, this is cafe is a joke and you are better off getting coffee from a vending machine. I will...
Read moreThere have been multiple times that I have tried to order something and they have failed to tell me that they are out of certain ingredients. I tried ordering a mocha cookie crumble. Not only did I not get the cookie crumble at the top, they even failed to get the java chips that they put in down at the bottom. I practically just git a mocha frappe paying at a higher price most likely. This has happened on multiple occasions. They don't say anything and don't give any discount either. Time to move on perhaps Scooters for good. I just went back to tell them that they missed the cookie crumble and java chips. The lady at the register said she could remake it. However I had to tell her that I heard they were out of an item. One of the baristas who made my drink did say she was out of the cookie crumble. I then told them to make me something else. They made it immediately so I didn't have to wait again in front of all of the people who had already ordered and were waiting. However I think that when they are out of ingredients, they should let the cashier know so the customer has a chance to make the mind up to either go without those ingredients or choose another drink and not get one not made correctly without...
Read moreThis location is one that I frequent often since I work on campus and sometimes need a little boost, especially with how early I arrive in the morning for my shift.
Some of the baristas have recognized me and are friendly and have conversations with me, all while being able to punch in whatever my order may be. They're very friendly and kind, and that's definitely appreciated.
I love grabbing a drink so early in the morning-the only frustrating part is if I come during the afternoon, wanting to eat lunch on my break, and there's not a lot of seating area. Hopefully they could expand on that and bring in more...
