As someone who has loved this place and gone multiple times before, today was overall terrible. As a barista, I understand when employees are tired or not feeling 100%, but the two baristas working today were honestly rude. I came in at around 3:43, and stood at the register until probably 3:57 when I finally called the store phone to see if anyone was working. Figured maybe they were doing dishes, but two baristas (I assume high schoolers) came out of the kitchen after answering the phone with, āHello?ā I politely asked if anyone was working as Iāve been at the register waiting for 7-10 minutes. They hung up, came out, and took my order kind of annoyed, and handed me my drink. I said thank you and was met with an āuh-huhā. I replied to have a great day but she just turned around to talk to the other barista. My oat milk capp was too hot and not steamed well (I watched them steam it twice) and the espresso was very overextracted. Itās a big bummer because I love this place and I havenāt had an experience...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI discovered Stir Coffee Bar while visiting Omaha and was really excited to check it out. The vibe and ambiance of the coffee shop is really great and I love the decor. Itās very cozy and relaxing and a great place to work, study, hangout with friends, or just sit and enjoy your coffee/food. The baristas are so friendly and helpful. The service was quick too! I was really happy to find that they offer multiple vegan options and pastries and they have oat milk too. I ordered my go-to drink when Iām visiting a new coffee shopā iced vanilla oat milk latte. I was so disappointed with the latte. It was very watered down, the coffee tasted burnt, and I didnāt taste any vanilla in it. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but I was really looking forward to it and was let down. Overall, this coffee shop is a great hang out and very cute. I would recommend trying this place out and seeing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTheir PB&J toast is so good! It's extremely expensive, but you can tell the ingredients are good quality, so you do get what you pay for. Usually their coffee is good, but not very consistent, and they do cut corners sometimes. I ordered a hot latte, and the barista started making it cold. She poured some pre-refrigerated espresso(?) into a cold cup and then realized it was supposed to be hot. So instead of pulling fresh shots, she dumped the coffee into a pitcher and steamed it with the milk. Just minutes before this, she had complained to another barista that she was tired of pulling shots. I don't like confrontation so I didn't say anything. If you want higher quality espresso, you want The Grind on 192nd and Pacific; they use beans from the same company, but their baristas pay more attention to detail and the drinks are...
