Half the time when places say the ice cream is homemade...it's not, lol. But I think Del's might be the real deal! Whatever the case, we enjoyed it enough to visit twice on our beach visit -- and that's high praise, considering I always wanna try as many different places as possible while on vacation.

Tucked at the end of a large shopping center, Del's provided the treat we needed to round out our dining experiences for the day. One night I came alone but got carryout for my sister in law, husband, and brother in law; another night, we brought the WHOLE family (9 people total). The same employee was there both nights and she handled us with patience and grace!

My one small complaint is that when she scooped ice cream, she didn't wear a glove. It made me more uncomfortable on one night because she had a bandaid on one of her fingers that she was scooping with. I don't doubt her handwashing practices, but I would've felt better with a glove on or something. But maybe I'm just a germaphobe.

At any rate, once I got over that, the ice cream was truly fabulous! I had a scoop of peanut butter pie one night and a scoop of the brownie biscoff the other. Both were yummy, but the brownie biscoff was a revelation. I'd buy it by the pint if I could. They have about 20 flavors to choose from and you can also get milkshakes and sundaes.

There's not much seating inside, but we were staying nearby so we just took our goodies to go both nights. I wish I'd had more time to try more flavors. But I'm sure I'll invariably be back in this area for a vacation in the future -- and a return visit to Del's will be on my list...

Visited Del's on a recommendation from our waitress Jada at Rotollo's (which is an excellent place to eat).

The line was long but the service was quick, they had plenty of staffing to help multiple customers out to move the process right along. A tremendous selection of homemade ice cream to choose from which can be made into several desert styles you choose, come, cup, milkshake, etc. After careful consideration I decided to choose the Biscotti Ice Cream in a waffle cone, it was absolutely the best ice cream I have eaten in my life.

My wife also decided upon the Biscotti and she agreed it was terrific. Our son chose the Salted Caramel double scoop in a cone and he professed he thought it was the best ice cream his taste buds had been graced with.

Definitely make this place a stop, from what we were told it is a locally owned homemade ice cream establishment, you shouldn't be disappointed, all I saw were smiles on the faces of the folks sitting around eating the...

We went into Del’s with 2 of our grandchildren. My granddaughter has a SEVERE peanut allergy. I asked the young lady that took our order if she could use a new, clean scoop for my granddaughters ice cream to help insure that there was no peanut cross contamination. She was very kind and said “ of course I can with a sweet smile on her face” She disappeared and went into the back of the store. I assumed it was to get a clean ice cream scooper, and I was right… but she was also carrying a BRAND NEW UNOPENED ICE CREAM TUB from the freezer! I was so impressed! This young lady not only smiled at my request… but took it one step further to insure that my 14 year old granddaughter could enjoy her ice cream and Be Safe!!! Needless to say… I will be be returning to Del’s in the future as well as telling everyone I know about their kindness and great service! Thank you Del’s Ice Cream for showing my sweet granddaughter what kindness and great...

We walked in with about 15 minutes left until the store closed and I'm extremely happy that we did. My wife and I went inside one of the only ice cream shops we could find open close to 11pm and Del's really hit the spot! I could go on and on about the ice cream, but there is an even better story to tell from the customer service side. Chloe (and several of the rest of the girls on staff) both made our night and had their night made by playing around with our 19 month old while we were making our selections. They played peek-a-boo with her, blew kisses to her and just had so much fun together! I'd love to send a huge thank you to her for doing more than just serving ice cream that night! Chloe, we appreciate you!

Not the greatest experience going here. The girl behind the counter seemed like she had so many other things she'd rather be doing besides scooping ice cream. It's kind of your job though since you work in an ice cream shop. We sat down inside to eat but honestly, the place looks filthy. The walls are dirtied up with black marks all over the place and the floor looks disgusting. The tables were clean that we sat at and that's mostly what I care about but in this day with covid going on.... put a coat of paint on the walls or clean them properly. It'll make the place look cleaner. The ice cream was good but nothing I'd rave about.
