I have been eating at this location since the business was opened. 3-01-2016 Because the service is great And the chicken is phenomenal. Today 4-01-2024 I came to eat some chicken fingers as usual. I got a phone call and the music was very loud that i couldn't hear so i asked one of the front employees to keep my food warm . He said yes. I went outside for 5 minutes. When i came back and asked for my 3 finger combo. they gave it to me cold. I asked politely if they could please either warm it up or exchange it. The manager had said no according to the front cashier. I was surprised with that noncustomer negative answer. I mentioned the manager a young lady that I have been eating here since 2016 and never had this refusal service. she said I haven't seen you here. They were kind of aggressive and negative. I don't know why. But i asked for a refund. Then she wrote in a piece of paper something. And said that I could call them for a refund. I was surprised that my favorite restaurant canes employees had treated me like this. So. I said why don't you just warm it up. She said no. We only have fryers. I can give you a refund. Give me your card. Suddenly the cook in the back passed her a plate of 3 chicken fingers. She grabbed them like what's going on. She then asked me, are you going to eat here? after i had Ordered dine in. I said, ofcourse, this is my favorite restaurant and i love the environment. Then she gave Them to me. They were hot. After that negative service and discussion it was great to come back to a great service again. However my chicken fingers didn't taste as usual. I think the bad moment had added some bad taste to this great...
Read moreThere we were, 7 grown adults, out in the middle of Orange at 11 at night hunting pocket animals on our phones, we then realized we were hella hungry. We looked up all these places to eat at and there was nothing opened until my cousin exclaimed that there was actually one place open late at night, Raising Cane's.
We rushed right to there with 15 minutes to spare before closing, thank goodness they took our huge order. The order was 25 pieces of tenders, 7 orders of Texas toast, 3 coleslaws, 4 orders of fries, and a gallon of sweet tea. Total price, around $50.
The chicken was tender and the sauce that came with it was BOMB-TASTIC!! The coleslaw was crunchy and not over dressed. The french fries were fried to perfection where it was crunchy and firm on the outside and fluffy inside. The Texas toast aiight until I had it with the dipping sauce. All the food which was ordered was devoured and everyone was food-coma happy.
It was initially a midnight snack which turned into an unforgettable I had with my family. I wish there was more Raising Cane's out in Cali, coughNORCALcough. Have to say if anyone is out with a group or if your by yourself and you are hankering for a "snack" drop by Raising Cane's. It's worth the money and those food coma...
Read moreMy husband was so excited to try this restaurant's chicken and fries. Well well well. We were not thrilled with the food. Firstly, it was a bit pricey for standard chicken strips. Secondly, the sauce that comes with their meals does NOT taste good. It tastes peppery and funky; there were no other sauce options offered as well. Thirdly, the chicken's fried batter lacked so much flavor. There was no kick or much of any seasoning added to the crisp batter attached to the strips. Fourthly, that Texas toast was very blah. The toast seemed like a toasted roll-bread thing that again lacked any flavor. Maybe Cane's should adapt a similar toast in comparison to Sizzler; that might boost our review up a star. Lastly, these fries and coleslaw were not unique folks; can you say hello Del Taco fries and copycat KFC coleslaw? Where is the original recipes at, Cane's? Overall, going to this restaurant was pretty disappointing. I will say one positive thing though, the food was fresh out of the frier. Chick-fil-A has an amazing seasoning on their chicken, they provide more options on their menu and a huge array of sauces to dip your chicken in. We aren't sure what the 4 plus stars are for this restaurant. [See the photo of the funky peppery...
